« Working in area for business so thought I’d try something closer to the town due to evening plans. Welcomed on arrival (needed to phone number on door due to small team running the place) and showed to room (top floor…not ideal if you can’t handle stairs!). Room good size, plenty of home comforts and most importantly good bed and shower! Overall a solid experience and will be back I’m sure when in area. »

« The Hornsbury Mill is a very charming hotel, set in beautiful grounds with a little lake. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the bed comfortable. I had the full English (vegan) breakfast and it was very tasty. The one complaint I had was that when the very charming old mill wheel is on and turning (which they switch off at 8pm), the noise made a constant thud in my room and bothered me a little. I assume it won’t be too much of a bother though to most people, who would be in bed well...
