The Neighborhood:
You're staying in one of Sheridan's calmest, most walkable residential pockets — the kind of tree-lined neighborhood near Kendrick Park where evening walks happen and the loudest sound is a sprinkler. It's a short stroll to some of the best green space in town and an easy walk to the heart of historic downtown.
Kendrick Park — big shade trees, walking paths, a small wildlife area, and the beloved seasonal ice-cream stand (about a 5-minute walk, and yes, you should go).
Trail End State Historic Site — the 1913 Kendrick Mansion, one of Sheridan's signature landmarks, just up the hill.
Big Goose Creek & the bike path — steps away; follow the water or the paved path for a morning run or a slow wander.

Getting Around:
Once you've parked, you may not need the car much. The loft is genuinely walkable to parks, the creek, the bike path, and downtown.
On foot: Kendrick Park ~5 minutes; downtown Main Street under 15 minutes; the bike path and creek just outside.
By car: free parking for two vehicles at your door. Sheridan is small — most things are within a 5–10 minute drive.
Cycling: ask us about Wyo Stays bike rentals to explore the path and the wider valley on two wheels.
Day trips: the Bighorn Mountains and National Forest trailheads are roughly 20–40 minutes out; the Bighorn Scenic Byway is one of the great American drives. Message us and we'll map your day.
Airports: Sheridan County Airport (SHR) is about 10 minutes away; Billings Logan (BIL) is roughly 2 hours north for major connections. Ask about a private airport transfer.

It's a true two-story loft. Your bedroom and living space are upstairs; the bathroom and kitchen are on the main floor.
