« Shelter Cove is an absolute GEM, WAY off the beaten path. The hotel is in a prime location with beautiful views and direct access to black sands beaches, tide pools and even a lighthouse! The hotel is still being renovated, so it's not perfect. But the staff is helpful and the location is wonderful. »

A special card and bottle of wine as we entered - equipped with games - beach stuff and all the amenities needed for a beautiful stay! We can already booked for next year - the cherry on top - the amazing view ! »

Only slight complaint is all the beds feel like basically the same fairly hard foam which I didn’t really like, but otherwise it was an almost perfect stay. « The online photos of the property do not do it justice - it is right on the ocean - from almost all the windows, that is what you see and hear- ocean. It's beautiful. Communication/arrival/departure was super easy and there was no need to contact the hosts during our 5 night stay there. The house is well appointed with (more than what) we needed for our stay in Shelter Cove. This is a special home in a special place. We are grateful for having stayed there. »
