« We spent two different nights in this lovely home, as it was half way point for our drive to and back from our Florida family vacation. This home is cozy and we all loved it. This house is a mix of old and new, with a touch of antiques and modern amenities. My only wish is that we would have been able to stay more than just over night each time we stayed so, we could have explored the area more. Overall GREAT place to stay!! »

« We had so much fun at this lake house! The House is spacious and inviting! The very short trip to the dock is definitely the selling point! We rented a pontoon boat from Twin Creeks Marina one day and spent the whole day at the dock the next. Property Manager was super friendly and accommodating with help or questions. We will be back! Thank You! »

« My family and I have stayed 3 times at the lake house over the past 2 years. The home is consistently clean. The host is quick to respond and very accommodating! One of our favorite things about The Hickory Hideaway is the open floor plan, wonderful lake view, and well stocked kitchen. We plan to return! »

« The house was beautifully decorated, extremely clean and very comfortable. Linda, our host, was amazing! She was quick to respond the two times I had questions and added special touches to our stay. Sitting outside in the evening, right next to the lake was so peaceful and relaxing. Downtown Winchester is just up the street. I highly recommend this property and hope to go back. »

« Nice property. Plenty of room, very inviting space. Host was very responsive to the questions I had prior and during our stay. Beautiful area and would highly recommend you bring or rent a boat during your stay. The steps from the water/dock back up to the house are visually overwhelming but built very sturdy and safe with plenty of landings to stop and admire the surroundings. »
