Don’t miss this free museum in Shasta. It’s run by the state forest service and was actually a store from the 1800�’s. What’s really cool is that the park service bought the building and contents and have it set up like it actually was in the 19th century. Feels like stepping into ‘Little House on the Prairie’

TrÚs bel emplacement, check-in simple et rapide. J'ai retiré une étoile pour le service et personnel puisque le lobby est un guichet en visio conférence, mais c'est une pratique qui semble trÚs courante à Los Angeles. TrÚs bon service malgré tout, nous avons passé un bon voyage et le logement était propre, dans un coin tranquille.

This one is west of Redding, maybe about a half-hour off the Interstate. Drive west on highway 299, past Whiskytown Lake and look for a sign for Crystal Creek. This multi-tiered waterfall surrounded in green is just the thing! TRAVEL TIP: Have a long, overnight flight coming up? Check out the various travel pillows that let you lean forward and plant your face into them!
