Littlestairs

  • Littlestairs is a stunning holiday home is situated in the seaside town of Shanklin with glorious sea views from the master bedroom and balcony. The property is ideally positioned with direct access to the coastal path through the rear garden, and is within walking distance to the beach, town centre, the Old Village, Shanklin Chine, theatre, pubs and restaurants. The accommodation has been comfortably furnished to include a large open plan living/dining room with French doors leading to the garden. There is a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar and extra lounge seating. Two of the 4 double bedrooms are on the ground floor and all have en-suite bathrooms. From the master bedroom there is a lovely balcony with seating so you can soak up the sun whilst enjoying the spectacular views of the bay. The large enclosed garden is ideal for al fresco dining and you will find ample parking to the side of the property.

    LOCATION:



    Shanklin seafront is the perfect place to enjoy a traditional seaside holiday with its beautiful sandy beach, crazy golf, Shanklin Chine, pubs, restaurants, theme park & amusements.



    The two mile coastal walk between Shanklin & Sandown is a popular attraction; choose from the undulating coastal path or the sea wall promenade. Along the way is the village of Lake, with its quiet sandy beach and water sports centre.

    Sandown is popular for visiting Dinosaur Isle with life size models, Sandown Pier and Isle of Wight Zoo famous for its Tiger Sanctuary. There is also an 18 hole golf course at Sandown.

    There is no electric car charger on site and guests are prohibited from using the mains electric in the property to charge a car.

    The Island Holiday Company are responsible for the full management of this property and should you need to contact us during your stay we are available between 9-5 Monday to Friday, We also operate an out of hours emergency service on the weekends - please refer to your property brochure left inside the property, for further information and contact details.



    No stag or hen parties are permitted at any of our properties.



    There is a strict no smoking/vaping policy, inside all our properties.



    Linens and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels and cot linen as necessary.



    For security purposes a surveillance camera is in 24-hour operation, monitoring and viewing the driveway to the side of the property.



    Please be respectful of the property and the neighbours during your stay; leaving the property as you found it on your arrival.



    A breach of the above rules and guidelines could mean forfeiture of the Security Deposit.

Fantastic accommodation in the perfect location right on the cliff tops. Accommodation was spotlessly clean. Loved it so much we are going back in a few months. Quite pricey for a weeks stay if only 3 of you, but otherwise it was faultless.

This accommodation has everything you could wish for, and more. Ideal for our holiday that included 3 generations. Ground floor bedrooms very convenient. Whole house very clean and exceptionally well equipped. Only (very minor) thing was the step up to the front door was a little bit high for my elderly mother to manage without assistance.

Littlestairs is an amazing holiday home. We stayed for a week with family and loved every minute. The cleanliness in the house was excellent and there was easily enough space for eight adults and furry companions. The house is equipped with everything you need Having four ensuites was a huge bonus. The garden area is lovely and the sun rise and sunsets from the balcony are gorgeous. The location being right on the coastal path gives easy walking access to Shanklin and Sandown with lots of cafes and cafe bars easily walkable. We would recommend Littlestairs to anyone wanting quality accommodation with lots to do

What a genuinely wonderful place to spend a fortnight with family exploring all the island has to offer. - it’s even bigger and more beautiful in person. The garden was a real asset and the apples were delicious. Pretty walk to Shanklin seafront on the coastal path (but quite hilly in parts so bear that in mind!). Everything was clean and perfect on arrival and so many necessities were already available. Space and finish of the property The property lacks the ability to charge mobile devices and whilst accepting that this would be a questionable outlay on what is a holiday home, the provision of a couple of adapters would overcome the issue.

The house was better and bigger than it looks in the photos. We were in a family of 10 with plenty of space for everyone. We could walk to many places by the beach. The sea views from the house are beautiful as well. There were no blinds in the upstairs bedrooms, we would wake up around 5:30 by the brightness and was hard to sleep again. They know of the issue as it was provided eye masks.

A house that felt like home, situated in the most perfect location on the cliff top with direct acce

A house that felt like home, situated in the most perfect location on the cliff top with direct access to the footpath. It’s a 20min walk to SandownShanklin so everyday we mixed it up with which town we went into. We had a beach hut on the front which was directly off the steps onto the promenade which again was so ideal! All bedrooms huge, spacious and had en-suits. No need to worry about clothing space either! Lovely sociable living/dining area. We even cooked a few meals and the kitchen was easy to use and figure out. This is the first time we stayed at littlestairs at the house and will not be our last. 10/10!!💫

An amazing house in a great location

The pictures don’t do it justice. The house is enormous, with 4 generous bedrooms and bathrooms, a huge, well equipped kitchen and a number of general seating areas, ideal for our family group. There are great views from the balcony, and the large garden has two seating areas (and a local kestrel who hovered overhead daily). There are lots of thoughtful touches provided by the owner, such as tea, coffee, milk and toiletries. The house was immaculately clean. It is situated on the cliff path, with a superb cafe a short walk away and walks to Sandown and Shanklin. It was very peaceful and quiet, and an ideal base to explore the island. The Island Holiday Company were great to book with, very responsive to queries. We would definitely book again.

Wonderful stay at Littlestairs

We recently stayed at Littlestairs for a week. The weather was mixed but we had a wonderful stay. The house itself is lovely, so well though out. Well equipped kitchen and beautiful bedrooms. The space is very well thought out for a group - enough space for people to be in the kitchen and living area and feel together. My dad who is 92 felt very at home and able to move around easily. We wnjoyed being able to watch tv together on the large sofa. As far as location - it is excellent. We visited the Blueberry's cafe several times which is just outside the back gate. We also went to The Hideaway cafe. We walked on the beach every morning. It is near enough to Shanklin to walk - about 30 mins - or an easy drive. We found lots to do in the area and learned lots about local history. The house was lovely to stay in and we will certainly look to book again. The access to the property - it has a step down and then a few steps up. at the front .The steps at the front and back of the property were quite deep.

Could be a 10/10

The house is very spacious and has all you could wish for in the kitchen /lounge/garden and all en-suite bedrooms great and a fabulous sunny balcony but there is a huge problem as there are no curtains in any of the bedrooms roller blinds are just not enough when the sun comes up at 5 in the morning everyone is awake and by the end of the week none of us had had a good nights sleep if this was fixed we would definitely come back and recommend it to others also the master bedroom bathroom did not have a shower and no coverings at all at the windows so no one stayed in that room at all which is a shame it could be a fantastic room.
