« I was visiting with family for my grandson’s first ever dirt bike race. What a great weekend! My grandson won 2 of his 3 races. My son, his girlfriend and my grandson came to the cottage for the evenings. We enjoyed grilling and sitting by the fire ring. My grandson loved playing with the kids that were with family by the pond. The property is absolutely beautiful! The hosts are very kind and welcoming. I would definitely love to stay again! »

« I grew up in Shamokin so I understand most of the homes are historically old and many are row houses. The host does a wonderful job of making the home feel welcoming. Loved the decor and fun layout. The bathroom is large and clean with great water pressure; that's always a bonus. ;) »

« We had a wonderful stay here. We were in town for a swim meet at Bucknell University and thoroughly enjoyed fishing and relaxing by the river in our downtime. One small note is that the listing says that it is 15 mins from Bucknell University and it is no less than 25 minutes from there. It will not stop us from coming back but worth noting if you are making frequent trips that way like we did. An amazing property - we can't wait to stay here again next year when we're in town for the meet! »
