« Absolutely beautiful place. Amenties in the lodges great, very clean, and so peaceful. Lots of greenery and close to main road ao great location for days out. HOWEVER I am deeply annoyed with VRBO after showing hot tub pictures on the listing for the lodge i was booking I naturally presumed it had one there and as it was not cheap we thought we would treat ourselves to a weekend away. « We booked this property in Fordingbridge since it was a reasonably short drive from Southampton (prior to our cruise). The plan was to spend 3 days in SW England (Bath, Stonehenge, etc.) and take in the charm of a small village. "Old coaching inn with busy bar. No elevator and rooms up long winding stairs and no staff to help carry bags so avoid if infirm or with loads of heavy bags. Breakfast superb and it’s very much in the center of town so great location. Service willing if a bit strained."
