Valley View in Shagbark

Spa tub, Hot tub, free Wi-Fi, 3 bedroom, 3 bath with Mountain View

Valley View has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, a Spa Tub in a large area. Drive up to the barrier free front porch for easy access and unloading. There is a bedroom and bath on each of the 3 levels of the cabin. Enjoy a lovely gas fireplace with a timer for easy on in the main floor great room. 2 couches for relaxing, sturdy rustic dining table and well stocked kitchen with view of the forested valley to the cabin back.
The lower level has an enclosed bedroom, game room and bath. The upstairs has an enclosed king bedroom, full bath and separate spa tub room. Walk out to the lower-level deck for the hot tub, the upper deck has a propane gas grill with a back-up gas tank, so you do not run out while cooking.
Heavily wooded lot in the private gated Community of Shagbark.
This log cabin is in the gated 1300 acre community of Shagbark close to the Pigeon Forge city limits. Shagbark has a community swimming pool available Memorial Day weekend until the end of September. Shagbark only has about 246 cabins scattered throughout the wooded hills and year-round creeks that will make you think you are in the Smoky Mountain National Park, a court area across from the pool with basketball goal, tennis court, pickle ball court, corn hole games with equipment available by the Community Center 3150 N. Clear Fork Road. Picnic Pavion, playground equipment, fence dog area and walking trail in the meadow off N. Clear Fork Road along the creek with 2 parking areas. Wild turkeys, raccoons and bears wander throughout the forests. Please be careful and do NOT feed the animals.
Cathy’s Cabins Rental Agreement for Pigeon Forge, TN cabins

I (We), the undersigned, renting a cabin in Pigeon Forge for vacation or recreation purposes, agree to the following.

If I (We) do not personally inspect the premises prior to signing this Agreement, I (We) agree to accept the rental property upon arrival, provided it meets the basic description as listed on the Rental Websites. Any problems must be reported immediately Not at the end of stay. In Addition, I (we) agree that we will not be entitled to a refund of rent money, nor relocation to another property, and will have no claim or recourse against the Owner, the Owners agent, etc.

I (We), our guests and visitors, agree to not smoke in the cabin. If you smoke in the cabin, you will be charged a double clean fee. Also, that there will be no loud or large parties in the cabin or on the premise. That all listed previously will maintain the premises in good order and appearance and conduct themselves in a manner inoffensive to the neighbors.

I (we) our guests and visitors, agree that any illegal drug use on the property, or any disturbance, annoyance, endanger, or inconvenience of the neighbors; or use the premises for any immoral or unlawful purposes, or violate any law or ordnance or commit waste or nuisance on or about the premises will immediately terminate our occupancy and rental agreement of these premises.

Owner or Owner’s Agent may enter the premises immediately in the event of an emergency, in order to perform necessary repairs and/or maintenance; and with 24 hours notice, for normal maintenance.

Occupancy of RV campers and /or tents on the premises or parking lot is forbidden. Trailers and RV’s must be stored in the Shagbark Community Center parking lot by the Office.

Some cabins allow pets and some do not. Please make sure your cabin allows them, if you plan on bringing one.

I (we) shall be responsible for all damage, breakage and /or loss to the premises, except normal wear and tear and unavoidable casualties (deemed by Managers of Property) which may result from Occupancy. I (we) agree that all pipes, wires, glass, plumbing, household contents, etc., other equipment and fixtures will be in the same condition as at the beginning of our stay, or may put in during the term of the lease, reasonable wear and tear and damage by unavoidable fire and casualty only exception.

The property will be left in the same good and habitable condition. Any damages or notable conditions found upon arrival will be reported to the owners within one (1) hour of Occupancy. I understand the property will be inspected prior to my (our) arrival and when I/ We depart. Otherwise, I (we) agree that repair costs for any damages may be posted to my (our) credit card, or, if I (we) are paying by check or money order, I (we) will promptly submit the moneys due for full cost of replacement/ repair.
I (we) acknowledge any loss and /or damage to the Cabin/ Property will result in a charge for replacement value to my (our) credit card, or if I (we) are paying by check or money order, I (we) will promptly submit the moneys due. I (we) agree to hold Owner/Agent harmless from all liability, loss or damage arising from any nuisance or harm made or suffered on the leased premises by me (we) guests or invitees. Also from any carelessness, neglect, or improper conduct of any persons entering, occupying or visiting the apartment or premises.

The Owner shall provide utilities, furniture and fixtures, linens, bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes, beach towels, some paper towels, dishwasher and dish soap, hand soap, some toilet paper, laundry soap and softener sheets.

Prior to vacating the Cabin, Tenant is responsible to remove all trash and recyclables to the trash bin provided, ensure all dishes and cookware are clean, and return any furniture that was moved to its original position. Beds may be “stripped” with the sheets and pillow cases placed on top the beds, and used towels should be “piled” in the bathtubs or showers when you vacate the cabin.

Owner/Agent shall not be liable to Tenant, Tenant’s guests, licensees, invitees or any other person for any injury, loss or damage to any person or property on or about the premises. Tenant shall hold Owner/Agent harmless and indemnified from and against all loss, injury or damage occasioned by the use or misuse or abuse of any part of the premises, parking lot, pool or community and from or against any omission, neglect, or default of Tenant, his guess, licensees or invitees.

We will not be liable or responsible for personal items left behind, lost or stolen. If you leave an item after checking out and wish to have it returned, call us as soon as possible and we will arrange for prepaid shipment if it is found. We will inform you of the shipping cost and you will be asked to prepay the expense.

Guidelines for Hot Tub use: • Use of hot tub is at your own risk! • We assume no risk for the use of the hot tub. • Children should not use the Hot Tub without parental supervision!! • Pregnant women should not use the Hot Tub • Remove Contacts before the Hot Tub Use! • Never use the Hot Tub alone! • Do Not Wal, Sit or Lat on Hot Tub cover. The replacement cost is $350.00 and the damage cost will be billed to you. • Do Not Use soap, Bubble Bath or Oil of any kind in Hot Tub. • If you have sensitive skin, do not use Hot Tub. • No electrical appliances used within 3 feet of hot tub.
Do Not enter the Hot Tub with glass, food or under the influence of alcohol. • No Diving or Rough Housing in Hot Tub. • We highly recommend you Shower after using the hot tub to remove sanitizer from your skin. We can not be responsible for any medical conditions incurred as a result of use of the Hot Tub! • Use at your own risk! Be aware that tampering with Hot Tub controls may cause electrical shock or disruption of service!

This Agreement may not be assigned or the property sublet, and is for the Tenant’s use only. No changes to, or changing of locks of the Cabin/ premises are permitted.

Force Majeure. There may be circumstances beyond our control and contemplation, in which the property might not be available for your booking. Examples of these include (but are not limited to) destruction of or severe damage to the property. In the event of Force Majeure, we will do our best to make alternative arrangements for you where possible. I have read and understand the rules and regulations. I certify that I an at least 25 years of age and that I will be held responsible for the care of this property being rented under my name. I accept full responsibility for damanges or extra cleaning charges should they be discovered during or after departure.

While the cabin is clean & stocked with plenty of amenities, supplies, hot tub & gorgeous views, the roads in the resort up to the cabin & parking at the cabin are not motorcycle friendly. Riders should be careful when booking this cabin. Only thing bad to say would be the grill could use replacing. Would stay again, just not bring the motorcycle.

Cabin was secluded high in the mountains. Very quiet. Cabin was clean and stocked with snacks and everything you could need. Gated with guard shack and also has community pool, tennis court, basketball, Frisbee golf, and also a dog park. Would recommend

Overall, our stay was great! My parents joined me, my wife, and our two children (3 & 1) and everyone enjoyed the cabin. The view from the back deck is spectacular! The kitchen is fully stocked and ready to make home cooked meals for your family. Both king size beds are comfortable. Ms. Cathy was very helpful with getting our security clearance to enter the subdivision.The only issue we had was the overall cleanliness of the cabin. Specifically a very thin layer of dust on the books and decorations that no one uses. The porches and decks seemed like they had not been swept in while due to the amount of leaves present. Some of the furniture is dated and needs to be replaced, like the couches and basement mattress. None of the issues we noticed were an inconvenience to us and were no more than most people would have at their own homes.

We enjoyed our stay! Cabin is very nice. Could use few extra 💡 lightbulbs! Several were blown so we swapped them with others that weren’t being used in a lamp. Privacy was good, but there is a cabin being built next door so definitely recommend putting up shades/curtains once those neighbors move in or else they can see straight into upper bedroom window. Plenty of space for my husband & I, our son, his wife their 4yr old, & our daughter. Close to the Piegon Forge parkway & other activities in the area. Hope to come back again!!!

We had a great time the only issue was we had a storm and it knocked out the electricity for a little while but that was in no way on the property management but it was a great little getaway for me and my family very nice place the drive up is a bit scary it’s straight up a mountain you will have to have a four wheel drive

Everything in this cabin needs replaced. The carpet is so gross to walk on. The dryer doesn’t heat to dry. The back deck and side deck look iffy to walk on. It isn’t inviting at all. The bottom level sliding door doesn’t lock. All the windows and doors need replaced. They don’t latch securely and bugs were coming in all the time. The upstairs bedroom window had a half inch gap to the outside. The upstairs bathroom toilet seat is disgusting and needs replaced. The tub upstairs is gross dirty and so outdated. I hope no one ever uses it. Everything just felt so dirty and it needs a flip badly. Also the extra linens were just in a pile in the closet. No nice neat folding that made you think they were clean. Also the guard at check in was beyond rude. Seemed annoyed we were there when that’s his job. Just overall wouldn’t recommend unless it has a major overhaul.

this cabin was great, very spacious and great views of the mountains. the place itself was beautiful, however there were no trails to walk from cabin to other places and the roads to get anywhere were so steep they were not walkable.

Great cabin with plenty of separate space if that’s what you need! We had a small hiccup that was taken care of in hours and allowed our stay to remain great. The kids really enjoyed the pool table and my father even got an up close visit with two bears on the front porch during the stay!
