↟ Dining Area & Fully-Stocked Kitchen ↟

Step foot into the large dining area as you first enter the home. Our large, rustic dining table comfortably fits 10, with additional bar-height seating available in the nook and kitchen. Enjoy a home-cooked meal with the entire group, taking in the ambiance provided by the electric fireplace mounted to the wall. A large Roku Smart TV means you'll never miss a big play as you cheer on your favorite team or catch up on some shows.

Just beyond the dining area you'll find the fully-stocked kitchen, featuring full-size appliances, cookware, glassware, plates/bowls, utensils, and basic cooking essentials you'll need to cook for the entire group.

Enjoy your morning brew using our Keurig drip and K-cup dual coffee pot. We offer a coffee starter-pack to get you going. Bring extra if you are coffee lovers!

Gather around the fireplace in the with your loved ones- playing games, or watching your favorite shows. The Roku Smart TV is set to Guest Mode, so you can stream on your favorite apps throughout your stay and be automatically logged-out on the day you depart. The couch doubles as a pullout sleeper sofa, providing an extra sleeping area for your group.

↟ Third Floor Bedrooms ↟

Up the stairs from the dining area you'll find 2 bedroom suites, both featuring a full-bathroom with walk-in shower. Each bedroom has its own private balcony, so you can enjoy that morning cup of coffee while taking in the fresh air of the Smoky Mountains.

The King suite features high cathedral ceilings and ample space to feel right at home. Enjoy a Roku Smart TV mounted above a sleek, modern electric fireplace to bring cozy mountain vibes right into your bedroom.

Down the hall, you'll find our Bunk suite, equipped with 2 Queen-over-Queen bunkbeds to comfortably sleep an additional 8 guests. This room also features high cathedral ceilings and offers plenty of space so that those sharing the room do not feel over-crowded. The bunk room also features a Roku Smart TV and additional electric fireplace.

↟ Third Floor Nook and Kid's Hideout ↟

Between the King and Bunk rooms is a peaceful reading nook, with comfortable seating to get lost in a good book before bed. There is also a dedicated work-space in case you need to catch up on work during your stay.

Take the ladder up to our "Kid's Hideout", where your little ones can get lost in board games, shoot some hoops, or simply escape for some peace and quiet (may better serve as a "Parent's Hideout" !!)

↟ First Floor Bedrooms ↟

Taking the spiral staircase down from the living room, you'll find 2 additional bedrooms.

The first floor King Suite offers the same cozy vibes captured on the third floor. Catch up on some shows on the Roku Smart TV, and enjoy the ambiance of another electric fireplace. Enjoy your own private full-bathroom with walk-in shower. There is private access to the lower level deck, which spans the entire length of the bottom floor, connecting to the game room entry.

An additional bunk room is located down the hall from the King suite, and features a Twin-over-Full bunkbed to comfortably sleep 3 additional guests. In this room you'll also find the laundry closet, featuring a full-size washer and dryer, included with your stay. We provide a start of laundry detergent!

The game room is the best room in the house and is also located on the first floor. Our game room features a full-size pool table, multi-game Arcade console, Boss Toss, various board games, a large Roku Smart TV, and electric fireplace. This room is guaranteed to keep your group entertained for hours, as there is something for everyone. Enjoy separate access to the front porch, where you'll find life-size Connect 4 and additional outdoor seating.

Off of the game room you'll find the side porch, where you can soak in the hot tub under glowing string lights after a long day exploring the Smokies. There is additional outdoor seating, providing the perfect hangout area for catching up with family and friends.

Stay connected with reliable, high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the home. All 6 Smart TVs are equipped with Roku set in Guest Mode, so you will be automatically logged out of any of your streaming services used on the day you checkout!

Enjoy a large, flat grassy area at the front of the Lodge, providing the perfect area to play a game of football with the family, or simply allow the kids and dogs to run around and tire themselves out.

The Lodge features 2 large decks, spanning the entire length of the home, featuring life-size Connect-4, a propane grill, and ample outdoor seating for ultimate relaxation. There are 2 smaller, private balconies attached to each bedroom on the third floor.

During your stay you'll have access to amenities provided by Shagbark Resort. While here, you can enjoy the outdoor community pool (during summer months), tennis courts, pickleball courts, basketball court, dog park, and more!!

For large groups, there is a community center available for rent directly through the HOA!

We provide starter kitchen supplies of salt, pepper, cooking oil, hand soap, dish soap, sponge, dishwasher pods, K-cups/coffee pack, tea, and 1 full paper towel roll.

Bathrooms are stocked with towels, 2 toilet paper rolls per bathroom, hand soap, shampoo, and body wash.

Laundry includes a full size washer & dryer in the first floor bunk room closet, and starter laundry soap. Iron and ironing board should be hanging in the laundry closet.

Parking is available directly in front of the home and on the left side of the home.

** Please note- Access into Shagbark Resort is controlled by a security checkpoint and gate. All overnight vehicles entering the Resort must be registered with your reservation. We will help coordinate vehicle registration prior to your arrival date.

- Mountain roads in the Smokies can be steep and winding. An AWD/4WD vehicle is recommended during rain or snow.

- Supplies are not re-stocked mid-stay, so plan on bringing extra for longer stays!

- Guests under 23 must be accompanied by a guest on the reservation 23 years of age or older for the duration of the reservation. The hot tub is for guests 18 and over, and children accompanied by their parent/legal guardian only. Alcohol is not allowed in or near the hot tub.

- We love our furry friends and allow 2 pets per reservation. Guests are required to add pets to the reservation and pay a one-time non-refundable pet fee. Any guests bringing more than the allowed number of pets will be asked to leave the property without a refund.

- All guests are encouraged to purchase travel insurance through Vrbo to protect against a change in plans due to illness or weather. We cannot make exceptions to our stated cancellation policy.

The home is fitted with a smart door lock and a unique code will be given to you prior to your stay. Guests will have access to the entire home, with the exception of 1 locked owners' closet.
