Cabane en rondins, jacuzzi, loft détente, 8 couchages
Summary:
Bring the whole crew to the Smokies without anyone sleeping on the floor. Whispering Pine is a true log cabin outside Pigeon Forge: private hot tub on the covered deck, a stone fireplace in the vaulted great room, and a loft the kids can claim. Two bedrooms, two full baths, sleeps 8. Recent guests called it "quiet, clean, and comfortable." Keypad self check-in, parking on site, and an easy drive to Dollywood, the Parkway and the national park. Message us with your dates, then book.
The Space:
A real log cabin in the Sevierville hills, built for a group that wants to stay together and still get some quiet. Hewn timber walls, a vaulted great room, and a covered deck with a private hot tub waiting at the end of the day.
THE SHORT VERSION
- Private hot tub on a covered deck, usable in any weather
- Stone fireplace anchoring a vaulted great room with leather reclining sofas
- Full kitchen: full-size range and oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, kettle, Keurig, cookware, dishes and wine glasses
- Two bedrooms on the same floor, two full bathrooms, plus a loft with futons, a bean bag and its own TV
- Sleeps 8
- Washer and dryer in the cabin, so you pack lighter
- Keypad self check-in and a smart lock, arrive whenever the drive gets you here
- Free parking on the property, WiFi throughout, air conditioning and heating, ceiling fans
- BBQ grill and an outdoor dining table on the deck
- Lake access from the community
FALL AT THE CABIN
This is the season the deck earns its keep. Coffee outside while the ridge is still fogged in, the grill going at dusk, then the hot tub once the temperature drops and the string lights come on. Inside, the fireplace does the rest. Guests who came in the cooler months kept saying the same thing: quiet, clean, comfortable, and easy to settle into.
SLEEPING
Two bedrooms sit on the same floor, each with a real bed and room to move around it, one of them with an ensuite bathroom. The loft upstairs is the kids' territory: futons, a bean bag chair, a TV of their own, and a railing they can hang over to yell down at the grown-ups. Extra pillows and blankets are stocked in a basket, and fresh towels and basic toiletries are already in both bathrooms.
COOKING AND EATING
The kitchen is a working one, not a decorative one. Cook a full breakfast before a park day, then eat at the wooden dining table and bench or out on the deck. Bring your own cooking oil and spices; everything else is here.
GETTING AROUND
Dollywood, the Pigeon Forge Parkway and Great Smoky Mountains National Park are all within a comfortable drive, and Gatlinburg is a little further on. The cabin sits off the main drag on a quiet road, which is the trade guests keep telling us they would make again.
THE PLAN
Book your dates, let yourself in with the keypad, and start the trip on the deck. Message us first if you want help sorting out the sleeping arrangement for your group.
Guest Access:
The whole cabin is yours — self check-in with a smart lock means no lockbox hunting and no coordinating a meet-up time, just punch in your code and you're in. That includes the full kitchen, both bathrooms, the loft, the great room with the pool table, and the covered deck with the hot tub and gas grill. Community pool and boat dock access come with your stay as well, so bring the extra towel.
Host Jacob is a Superhost with a 100% response rate — reviewers consistently mention how fast he answers, so if something comes up, you're not left guessing.
The Neighborhood:
Whispering Pine sits in Sevierville, close enough to everything that "let's go to Dollywood today" doesn't require an early alarm, but far enough up the ridge that you come home to quiet. Here's what's around you:
- Dollywood — about 15-20 minutes, easy for a full park day or a quick evening ride run
- Dollywood's Splash Country — 15-20 minutes, pack the swimsuits with the park clothes
- The Island in Pigeon Forge — about 15 minutes, dinner, the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel, and after-dark strolling
- Gatlinburg — 20-25 minutes, for the aquarium, the arts-and-crafts loop, and Ober Gatlinburg
- Great Smoky Mountains National Park — 25-30 minutes to trailheads, waterfalls, and the drive that makes you put the phone down
You get Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg on your schedule, then come back up the mountain to a cabin that actually feels like a retreat instead of a motel with a view.
