We stayed in the Love Nest and before we did, we read every single review. It was absolutely perfect. We knew in advance that the lower floor porch was covered due to tree growth, but that we did still have a mountain view from the top floor- hoping these trees can be trimmed a bit for the view- but the top floor had an amazing view- there is a cabin right next door- which has pretty much the same view without the tree growth.
Knowing this beforehand, we were okay with that, because I love trees! :) It gives it a private feel although you are in a neighborhood of cabins.
Everything was clean overall; only noticed vacuuming needed behind bed and on frames of windows behind blinds- (lots of spider webs- however, obviously we are in a cabin.. so not a big deal). But the rest of the cabin was very clean- no worries there!
Wi-fi works; however, I wouldn't say it's the strongest in the world- but in some ways kind of a good thing to put the phone down. ;) The only thing we noticed was that the arcade game is not in best shape- you can barely see the screen to play because it's so dim. But, again, we weren't staying her for games.
We had the best time here and usually stay at 4-5 star hotels- I was worried because I am more of a "glamper," however, this was priceless. We would go off to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge and surrounding areas during the day and spend the late afternoon/evenings at the cabin. It was perfect. The kitchenette was just right for us and we were pleased to have a washer / dryer as well. Our favorite vacation to this date. We will be back for sure!!! I can imagine these cabins in the winter-amazing! The road to the cabin in steep but we wanted to be on a mountain, so there you go!
This cabin faced the mountain area; we noticed other cabins in this area faced the valley area on the other side. We both agreed we chose the best side.
We will be back- don't hesitate- you will love renting this cabin! It's perfect!
