About MYTHS OF THE MOUNTAIN...
This secluded mountain cabin is easily accessible from all major roads. Your route will take you over paved roads that are easy to navigate, with no hairpin turns. And as you pull into the wide driveway of our cabin, you'll be greeted with an amazing view of Wears Valley and Cove Mountain in the distance.

Upon entering the cabin, you'll be welcomed by large picture windows offering breathtaking panoramic views of the rolling hills surrounding Wears Valley.

To the left of the entryway, is a gourmet kitchen with an open living space directly ahead. Throughout the cabin the walls are adorned with exceptional canvas art photography by Bill Lea, a National Geographic photographer and local resident. All furnishings and amenities are NEW since we opened our doors in December 2023.

LIVING ROOM:
Gather in this spacious room with amazing views of the surrounding mountains.
As you relax on the comfortable leather and fabric sofas, you'll enjoy our 65" 4K Smart ROKU TV, equipped with a JBL Soundbar and Subwoofer for an immersive sound experience. Perfect for streaming your favorite shows or movies.
On cooler nights, relax in this comfortable room in front of the gas fireplace under the cozy throws provided.
The sleeper sofa in this room provides an extra Queen bed with upgraded mattress. You'll find all the necessary pillows, and bedding in the mango wood cabinet in the entryway.

KITCHEN/DINING:
The open floorplan leads to a cozy dining area adjacent to the living room. The dining table offers 4 chairs and a dining bench that easily seats 6-7. The nearby kitchen bar has 4 stools for additional seating. A booster seat can be found in the laundry room for our younger guests.

The gourmet kitchen is equipped with Calphalon Select cookware, as well as an All-Clad Turkey Roaster, big enough for cooking a 25-lb turkey for the holidays!
In addition, you'll find all your favorite small appliances like a waffle maker, blender, crock pot, and rice cooker.
Complimentary pantry items include a small supply of K-cups and Tea, coffee filters, Sugar, Salt, Pepper, Cooking Oil, Pam Spray, a variety of herbs and spices, Foil, Saran Wrap, Wax Paper, etc.
Your family will have ample dishes, server ware, and utensils for full meals or delicious snacks.

COMFORTABLE BEDROOMS (3):

*KING Bedroom - This spacious FIRST FLOOR suite includes a private bathroom, six-drawer dresser, luggage rack, and 43-inch 4K ROKU TV for streaming your favorite shows/movies.
Each of the bedside lamps is equipped with night lights and USB chargers. This room includes blackout curtains and a quiet ceiling fan for your comfort. French doors lead out to the deck, with panoramic views of Wears Valley.
Note: The closet in this bedroom is reserved for owner-use only.

The private bathroom features a double sink, walk-in shower, and a free-standing soaking tub. Amenities include lush linens, a bath caddy, travel size soap, shampoo, and conditioner, and two rolls of toilet paper.

*Queen Bedroom - This quiet SECOND FLOOR room offers a custom closet for storing your belongings, a luggage rack, and a 32-inch HD Smart ROKU TV for streaming your favorite shows/movies. The nightstands offer additional drawers for storage and lamps with night lights and USB chargers.
The huge picture window is dressed with blackout curtains and looks out onto the valley and mountains.

A private entrance to the SHARED hall bathroom reveals a spacious layout with double vanity and a shower/tub combo with a sliding shower door.

*Twin Room - This cozy SECOND FLOOR room is furnished with two Twin Trundle beds, providing a total of four twin beds. Each bed has a Serta 3" DuoCool Gel Memory Foam mattress. Extra pillows and bedding can be found in the tufted cushion chest.

Our younger guests will enjoy the cozy alcove that includes a sofa chair, reading lamp, books, cards, games, and puzzles. This room also has blackout curtains, a quiet ceiling fan, and a large closet for storing your belongings. NOTE: This room does NOT have a TV

*Queen Sleeper Sofa - On the lower level, you'll find a Queen sleeper sofa in the main living area. Bedding can be found in the mango chest located in the foyer.

GAME ROOM-LOFT AREA:
Your entire family will enjoy the game room located in the second floor loft area. Here you'll find a unique "cocktail style" Barrel Arcade with two chairs and loaded with 60 classic arcade games!
This game room also includes a Foosball table, a wall-mounted Connect Four game, and several popular board and card games. It's the perfect place for Family Game Night or rainy day activities!

OUTDOOR LIVING
Our guests rave about the wrap-around, 958 sq ft deck offering panoramic views of Wears Valley and Cades Mountain.
The covered deck includes a complimentary gas grill and a spacious Acacia wood dining table with seating for 6. The perfect place for a game of cards after dinner!
Enjoy fireside chats into the night as you relax on cushioned furniture surrounding a gas FIRE PIT TABLE. The deck also offers a string of Edison lights (set on a timer to come on 5 pm to 11 pm daily).

No stay is complete until you relax in the HOT TUB, situated in the corner with amazing views of the mountains. The hot tub is equipped with Bluetooth speakers and subwoofers; Waterfall Neck, Shoulder, Calf, and Foot Jets; Cushioned Headrests; and two reclining seats and a bench.

** Never run out of propane while grilling or enjoying the fire pit table. We are connected to a 100-gallon LP gas tank.

OUTDOOR LAWN SPACE:
Our sprawling 0.57 acre lot offers additional space for your family to enjoy the outdoors!
Start a Corn Hole tournament or bring along a ball and glove to play catch!
In the afternoon, curl up in our double Hammock for a nap or enjoy a book from our complimentary outdoor library stand, stocked with reading material for all ages.

Our guests rave about our wood-burning outdoor fireplace, stocked with complimentary wood. Its the perfect place to relax with friends in our Adirondack chairs.

WAIT THERE'S MORE...
The first floor laundry room is equipped with a washer, dryer, iron, and ironing board. You will also find a booster seat for the little in your group.

Work From Home? No problem! We feature Starlink, the latest advanced satellite internet system.

** TRAVEL TIP: Turn at Light # 3 from the Parkway, to avoid traffic as you enter Wears Valley Road, which has no traffic light stops.

SECURITY CAMERAS: We have a BLINK CAMERA above the MAIN ENTRANCE which focuses on the driveway and front porch/door only.
TRASH SERVICE: Weekly trash service is not provided at our beautiful remote location. Your stay includes one pickup service on the day of your departure.
For reservations 5 or more nights, you can arrange a mid-stay pickup service for $50. Alternatively, you can drop trash bags at the nearby designated location (see Guest Guidebook for directions).
