Up the hill but what isn't in the Mountians

quiet and clean, a fallen tree took out the internet but cell phone service is good in the area. It has a pretty good 100 yard hill climb put plenty of flat area to park and turn around before going back down. My wife enjoyed the slider swings on the porch.

Cute cabin…awesome location

This was a great cabin perfect for our getaway. Inside super clean and nice. Grounds outside were a little trashed in the shrubs.

Nice Cabin but Not Clean

The cabin and location were good, but the cabin needs an extensive cleaning. The rugs and carpets had not been vacuumed. It was very dusty. We found dirty dog toys from previous visitors under tables. One bathtub needed a new door. The surrounds of the tubs need to be scrubbed. The bedding and pillows smelled and needed to be washed. If the cabin was cleaned and bathrooms updated, the cabin would have been wonderful; but due to the cleanliness issue I would be very hesitant to rent again from Cabins For You.

Great location!

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. We have been renting various cabins in the area for over 20 years and this one came well stocked! Great location. Was close to activities but far enough to be away from traffic. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice cabin makes you feel at home! The surrounding area is quiet!

The cabin was exactly as described and easy check in! The cabin was a little out of the way of the busy roads but is only a short drive to go do whatever you want.

Snow Vacation

We enjoyed this cabin. Unfortunately, due to the snow taking out the power, we were only able to stay 2 of the 4 nights we reserved it for and had to go to a hotel. We appreciated this being a one level cabin as our little dog can’t do stairs. We also liked the close proximity to town, but far enough away from the busyness. We will definitely check this cabins availability for our next visit!

Cozy and roomy !

This property was perfect for me, my husband , and our 2 dogs . The yard was flat and practical for our dogs to go potty . The beds were comfy and the bedrooms were spacious . Both bathrooms had a shower and there is a bathroom in each bedroom ! The family room is spacious with 2 comfy couches and a perfect view to the large flatscreen TV ! The kitchen had tons of counter space compared to many cabins we have stayed in as well as plenty of dining space .There are doors leading out to the sitting deck from every room which was a nice bonus as well . The only thing I would add to this property to make it even better would be a full length mirror for getting dressed , and some type of gate to completely close the balcony off . Especially if you are traveling with dogs or kids . A TV would have been nice in one of the bedrooms and we could have used a little more hand soap as the one that was left in the bathroom only had a few squirts left in it . These are tiny issues though for such a lovely property . We would definitely stay there again !

I contacted VRBO several times about the pass code and was told each time I would get an email with the pass code. I never did. Once we arrived we had no way of getting into the cabin. I called VRBO again to complain and was told I never signed the rental agreement. I never received the rental agreement, but all my paper work showed the rental fee had been taken out of my account. I then had to find the local representatives go to their office, fill out the paper work and get the entrance code. This was very frustrating after driving 5 hours. If we had not arrived at the time we did, the local office would have been closed and we would have been out of luck. This was the worst time with VRBO. I am very disappointed in how everything was handled.

Relaxing weekend, but don't forget to pack everything!

This was a wonderful property for relaxing. The house itself was well kept, but they don't provide a whole lot depending on how long you're staying. You will get 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 roll of paper towel, 1 trash bag, a small amount of dish soap, and thats it. Remember to pack soap for the bathrooms, laundry detergent (they make you wash towels when you leave), dishwasher soap (you also need to run a load of dishes when you leave). Your grill is charcoal (you'll need to buy this yourself) please don't throw it in the woods many people before us did that. You'll need some grill tools, they have a few but nothing real decent. The coffee maker is a regular filter and grounds coffee maker. The wifi there works, but not great. Overall we had a good stay, but you really just have to pack everything!!

Ideal for Two Couples and kids

This is ideally placed in the hills/woods without super close neighbors, i.e. quiet! Just a quick drive (max 20 minutes, but so much closer) to all attractions and amenities. I went with my husband and dog while meeting my sister, her husband, and kid. Perfect cabin for two families and a “separate” (wall not to ceiling and no door) room for the kid. We are planning on returning to this cabin when we come back in the future.

Great place to stay, but problems with communication

Location - great! No steep roads, and no steep driveway. Plenty of parking for 3 vehicles. Outside- nice looking cabin, plenty of flat areas for your pups if you bring them. No view of the mountains though. Inside - Nice decorations, comfy furniture, and comfortable seating for 4 people. (not 5 unless you want to sit in the middle of the couch or at the breakfast table) Kitchen worked well. Love that both bedrooms are on the main floor. Beds comfy, although the bathrooms and showers are very small. Property manager- if booking through VRBO you can't click the contact manager button because no one will respond. You have to CALL Cabins For You to get any sort of response..
