Let’s start with the good: The views are incredible, especially from the top level of the home. The porch area is awesome for sitting and enjoying the view. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for the family to spread out. Both hot tubs were functional and enjoyable. Bathrooms and kitchen were clean. There were enough basic supplies for basic meal prep and dining. There is a toaster oven (no toaster) which did not brown bread for toast...it barely heated. The arcade area downstairs with the pool table and other games was a big hit with the kids (air hockey exception). There were several cons with the unit: The place is advertised with a theater room, but the room is unusable unless you bring DVD/Blu-ray discs with you...and who has those anymore? Three of the seats in the movie room were broken. The lack of internet (although stated in the listing) really was a drawback for us. The floors needed a good mopping (children's feet were black from running around barefoot). Floors had been swept, but definitely not mopped. The air hockey table is struggling – the puck barely glides over the surface. Several of the many televisions in the house seem to be damaged in the pixels. There were odd colors and lines. The main television on the main level was fine. The outside of this unit needs a good pressure wash to remove the many spider webs from windows and porch areas. Overall, the unit is nice, and if there was internet we'd rent again.
