« A glorious stay in room 412 which for us (couple and 4y/o on a sofa bed) was absolutely perfect. Double balcony with the most wonderful views, well proportioned room with everything we could need and a very nice touch of a complimentary welcome Salcombe Gin & Tonic in our room!
Parking was convenient with the porter parking for us and was handled quickly and efficiently.
The pool facilities were beautifully clean and tranquil and enjoyed especially by our daughter on the child permitted...

Everything is exceptional, the hotel, the setting, the food and the staff. They really made the stay fantastic as they went above and beyond to accommodate you and make sure you have the best stay. They were so friendly and helpful every single one of them. We didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be returning! »
« Bien place pour visiter le Dartmoor. À la campagne , calme , endroit agréable. Bon accueil. Fruits et gâteaux dans la chambre . La chambre aurait besoin d une petite rénovation.

« We booked very last minute, due to an unforeseen problem with our holiday cottage. When we arrived it was literally 5 mis before they stopped serving food BUT the chap said I'll go and ask the chef .,. He did and we enjoyed a very hearty excellent steak and ale pie each. Absolutely delicious, nothing too much trouble. Breakfast cooked to order and v attentive staff throughout. »

« Lovely cottage, the owner reached out prior amd asked us about cot / highchair and then advised the best way to get there as the lanes arent great however nice and easy to find! Cottahe was immaculate! Everything within driving distance.
We took our 2yr old daughter, plenty of space for her to run around and plenty of room to set up cot in either spare room, master room was lovely and spacious, wouldnt hesitate to go there again! »

The property inside and outside was very clean. There is a narrow gravel drive up to the property so Parking was in the village square which was a short walk around the outside of the pub, so not recommended for disabled as there is also steps up to the entrance door.
The entrance was a wooden decking which had a range of colorful potted plants and well maintained.
The owner was very helpful with directions and places to visit and eat...
