« We truly enjoyed our stay at Johnson’s Cove. The property was super clean. The kitchen was one of the best stocked rentals I have stayed in. The mattress we slept on was better than our mattress at home. The communication with the owner was fast and she was quick to respond. We rented a pontoon for the day and the dock was easy to use for loading and unloading/restroom. We will surely rent there again. »

« The owners were very easy to reach, remedied issues quickly; and friendly. The master bed is huge and comfy. We could not use one of the bedrooms the first night which was very frustrating because we were exhausted (it reeked of dog urine but they came the next morning and replaced rug and cleaned floor). There were also a couple roach sightings :( I would have given a 5 star if some sort of monetary recoup for the loss of one bedroom for the night had been offered. »

« The stay was excellent. The host was responsive and willing to change my booking after the cancellation period.The only complaint is that the house is old and the floor creaked a lot which I felt disturbed others while they were sleeping. »

« What a lovely place! Very clean and had everything we needed. Modern yet rustic, we loved the decor. Lucy (owner) was very responsive, getting back to me within minutes with any inquiry/request. We were visiting my nephew at Clemson - the property is minutes from campus. There is a cute little square walking distance from the home with a brewery and restaurants. We were traveling with our small dog and he had a great time! »

« The location is beautiful and the house is nice. It's unfortunate that it has not been cleaned well. There were dark hairs on the sheets of both beds, a lot of the windows were dirty with smudges/smears and there were multiple areas that need dusting and vacuuming. There are some safety hazards as well like loose bricks on the bottom of the steps. With a really good deep clean and regular maintenance this could easily be a five star stay.
