« Located inside the labyrinth that was originally a fishing village built out over the water, but now has many home stays catering to tourists. We arrived on a Thursday and were the only people there for that night and were told it was quieter with the lack of Singaporean tourist due to border closure. By Friday night we noticed a lot more tourists in the area as well as at the home stay we were in. Xiang Holiday Home was perfect for us - at the furtherest extreme of the village with lovely ocean...

« Enjoyed the free boat ride to and return from the chalet as it is situated at truly the final end of the village from the jetty. The room condition was okay, good enough for a decent stay by four persons. WiFi was not existed so you have to rely on your own data but the signal was a bit weak. Overall, worth a stay. »

The window faced the main street but because of double layer of windows , the street sounds did not come through at all. Very happy that the stay was comfortable and most importantly clean. »

« Everything is good, I was expecting a bath tub based on the photo, but it did not. Everyday without fail (I stay wed to Sat), around 5 plus to 6 plus morning, there will be some music playing non stop. It actually affect my sleep. Breakfast is average, not everyday is buffet style, but the waiter at the restaurant is friendly. »

« The hotel staff was helpful and friendly, and the price was very affordable. However, the condition of the toilet, towels, and bedsheets could be improved; the towels and bedsheets had a slight yellowing, the aircon also making some noise throughout the night. On the plus side, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they provided a toothbrush, 2 bottles of mineral water, and one-time use slippers, which was a nice touch. »
