It's a one-bedroom apartment along West State Route 89A, sized comfortably for two and flexible enough for four, built for the kind of trip where the real plans are all outside the door and the room just needs to be easy.

Inside, everything is where you'd want it and nothing more. The living area is a soft landing after a day on the trails, with a queen sleeper sofa for the extra guests and a TV for the nights when nobody wants to move. The kitchenette handles coffee, snacks, and a simple meal, and a small dining area gives you somewhere to spread out a trail map or sit with breakfast before the heat arrives.

The bedroom keeps a king bed, which is the right call after a morning of switchbacks. One full bathroom, sleeping space for up to four, and a footprint that suits couples, solo travelers, or a small family who'd rather spend the budget on the days than the square footage.

Just beyond the door, the building's exterior walkway opens onto mountain views — a simple place to stand with a coffee in the morning, or to catch the red rocks shifting through their evening colors when the light drops.

West 89A is Sedona's everyday spine, and that's the advantage. Casual restaurants and cafés sit within a few blocks. The Thunder Mountain and Chimney Rock trailheads are about a mile out for a quick loop with real views and none of the parking drama, and the Sedona Airport Scenic Lookout is under a mile up the hill for what might be the easiest sunset in town. Uptown Sedona and the Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village are a couple of miles east for galleries and browsing, Cathedral Rock and Devil's Bridge trailheads sit under three miles out, and Red Rock State Park, Bell Rock, and Slide Rock State Park all make comfortable half-day drives. Red Rock Nook isn't trying to be the destination. It's trying to keep you close to one.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
