There was great communication with the host and the check in and check out instructions were very clear. The accommodations were perfect for my family. The location was in a quiet neighborhood very close to the main road through Sedona which was so convenient for all activities. We were close to restaurants, spas and amazing hiking trails. We took advantage of the hot tub, sauna and ping pong table. The beds were so comfortable and the amenities were great. Could not have asked for a better VRBO.

We stayed 8 nights with our adult children and most evenings we hosted 10 adults for dinner. We had everything we needed to grill and cook in the fully stocked kitchen. The house was clean with comfy beds/bedding in every room. We appreciated not walking into an overpowering air freshener smell… you all know that air fresher smell covering up some funky smell in the house. Everyone, including our guests, enjoyed being able to congregate in a clean space. We did not use the hot tub, sauna, fire pit or any outside accommodations besides the grill so I can not speak to that, but it is set up well for gathering outside. We were very appreciative of the extra plates, silverware and gadgets that were provided to help make our stay feel like a home away from home.

This is our second stay at the Prickly Pear and we will return again and again! The space is amazing and well designed, plenty of room to spread out, hang out in the yard, enjoy a meal cooked in the well-appointed kitchen, with comfy beds and deluxe ensuites. Our stay in Sedona was made that much better by staying here! From before the booking process to our last moments there, it was seamless and wonderful. The house is beautiful, the beds are so comfortable, and it’s very close to so many things but also very quiet. We will def be back!

Our stay was perfect! This house felt like a home away from home. It is stocked with everything you could need and more. Location is perfect. It is walking distance from trail access, restaurants and a grocery store. Be sure to check out Gerardo’s pizza. Owner is from Sicily and makes some of the best pizza we’ve ever had! The garage was a haven for our kids, age 6 and 8. They loved playing ping pong and basketball. My husband enjoyed the casita as a quiet work space. And mom loved yoga on the patio in the mornings. We will definitely be back! Oh, and the beds were blissful.

Prickly Pear hit it out of the park! Super clean, all the amenities you could ask for and great central location to all the sites and hiking trails. The casita was a plus offering our family with a baby quiet and privacy. Highly recommend this home!!

We enjoyed a week at the Prickly Pear VRBO with our two grown kids, spouses and one grandbaby. The three king suites were perfect for our needs. One concern w/ the hot tub was immediately addressed. The neighborhood was quiet, pleasant for walking, and yet so close to restaurants, grocery, hiking and a fun distillery. The unit was nicely supplied with everything we needed. Would definitely return!

Fantastic Home

We were a group of six friends (3 couples). Spent 5 days hiking in Sedona. The house is perfect. Lots of open space to cook and be together. But privacy with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. We loved the hot tub and the outdoor space as well. Well appointed home with everything you could need. Clean and comfortable, felt brand new. Avril was so nice and responsive. We couldn’t have been happier here!

Great house and well appointed!

We had three couples stay for three nights and the house was great. The house is well maintained and well appointed! Actual house & amenities are as good or better than the pics/description on vrbo. Good communication with property manager. *the only minor thing is the barn doors to the two bedrooms (main house)....although they look nice, they really don't provide much in terms of privacy (noise, light from kitchen/family room) but this is a very minor point - we would stay at this house again.

Extremely clean, All the amenities, GREAT Location!!!

We looked at a lot of VRBO's; it was a tough decision with so many options in Sedona. So many times, you choose one, only to have something you wish you would have changed. Not this one. Communication with the host was excellent. Property was exceptionally clean. The layout and decor was perfect. Kitchen was stocked better than any other VRBO we've stayed at. We are an active family and do a lot outside. There is no shortage of things to do in Sedona, from renting UTV's, hiking, shopping, and the restaurants are awesome...but we also like to cook, so this property was perfect. The main house is spacious and open; what's unique, is there is another full living space above the garage with kitchenette. So if you need a private space for another few folks, it works perfect. Garage has ping pong and games with TV. Outside includes a hot tub, sauna and large sectional with propane powered fire pit. Whole Foods is nearby and plenty of other grocery stores. Host also provides recommended activities, restaurants and hiking. Fall and winter would be better for hiking but during hot months, Slide Rock & Oak Creek are awesome for catching rays and cooling off. We stayed from Tuesday thru Saturday and it was the perfect amount of time to check off all the boxes. I think that everyone should take at least one trip to Sedona in their lifetime. It's a magical place, that if you allow it, will take you away from the hustle and bustle that life brings.

Great family vacation

Avril was wonderful to work with through the whole process. The home is within walking distance of Sedonuts (a cute coffee/donut shop), reaturants and grocery stores. Well stocked kitchen made cooking meals a breeze. We enjoyed the comfortable beds and appreciated private Casita above garage. The game room was a big hit with the grandkids. Overall, a nice stay.
