Lovely waterside home

Terrific property, very close to the water with all of the sights therein, everything up to date and in a wonderful setting to explore the fascinating Sunshine Coast. Would definitely book again as one of the best Vrbo properties we have seen!

Water front house was a treat

Watching the ocean, tides, logs, looking at pretty rocks, birds, seal, weather was a delight. Enjoyed the Skoocumchuck Rapids hike and the Smugglers Cove hike. The Bakery in Sechelt has good food, but it was nice to be able to cook our own at the house. The only thing that would have made it better is a memory foam on the too hard queen bed. Thanks for the stay.

Peaceful

One of the most relaxing getaways. The home was clean and well supplied. Spent a lot of time sitting on the full length deck enjoying the ocean in the backyard. Very peaceful sleeping at night with the high tide waves rhythmically lapping at the shore just feet from the deck. The morning low tide usually back 50 to 80 feet offered great beachcombing strolls. This home is a great option for that peaceful time away.

Amazing Property, Great Area and Neighbours

My wife and I were up for a week and had a great time with our two kids, aged 7 and 10. Beach is amazing, friendly neighbours and falling asleep and waking up to the waves every day was the best.

We Will Be Back!!

We had a wonderful time at this property. Very well equipped, nice and clean, hosts were always prompt in their communicating with us. We loved the beach. You could throw a stone into the ocean off the deck at high tide-lower tide lots of stuff to poke around in-critters, beautiful rocks, even some Sea glass.

Oceanfront Bliss

We really enjoyed our stay here. The deck is wonderful to relax on and enjoy the ocean view. We had seals hanging around out front every day. The home met all our needs and was easy to check in to. Owner was great. The King bed in master was really comfortable.

Fabulous beach getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed the location and amenities provided. The view was fabulous, and the weather was sunny and clear for the entire week we were there. The "Sunshine Coast" was exactly that! The location was just 5 min drive out of town, so there wasn't hardly anyone near the beach. The public beach access was about 400 meters south, and usually cleared out by 6:30 pm. The neighbours were really quiet, but very helpful when we saw them. The property had a full kitchen, which we took time to enjoy. The beds and bedding were very comfortable, and there was ample seating bothin and outside for the 4 of us. Given the opportunity, we would most certainly return to this fabulous location.

A Little Piece of Heaven

Don’t rent this house unless you are looking for a totally awesome ….. ..5 star plus . House is truly Beautiful , Bright and Spotless.Huge deck and ocean view fantastic . Sound of the waves will relax you at your doorstep . With 3 patio doors, open concept, and another one off adjoining private ensuite with it’s own deck. Hosts are excellent and very caring . Beach Retreat

I have to say this home was one of the best places I have stayed with VRBO. Probably because it was right on the beach, but the home was so cozy and had everything you needed for a stay at the beach. Yes it was a bit cooler because it was March, but when the sun shone we sat out on the beautiful deck with cozy blankets and enjoyed watching the sunset with a glass of wine. Every night we put on the fireplace and the owners provided ample fire wood. The kitchen was will stocked and nice appliances. I'm afraid if I say to many good things about this home, it will be hard to book in the future. My sister and I brought our blow up paddles boards and would go out in the morning when the waters were calm. The town of Sechelt was only a 3 minute drive away. I would absolutely stay here again. Just stunning views and comfort ideal. We did not want to leave. Thank you Mark for providing such a wonderful getaway!

Amazing!

We just spent Christmas at this little piece of paradise... the view was amazing and the house was well stocked and perfect!!! Had enough room for everyone to spread out and the wood burning fireplace was so perfect for the snowy days!!! Would recommend and excited to go back!!!

Lapping waves, views of Islands, tugboats and seals

We had a wonderful time. The residence is lovely and well stocked. Right on the sandy/rocky beach, it was perfect for my two little grandsons! I had a peaceful time listening to the waves and looking out to spectacular view of the ocean!

Great family time

Location is excellent and allowed us to share quality time as a family, whether swimming, kayaking, SUPing ( using our personal equipment) or just relaxing playing board games or reading. It’s a quick drive to town for more provisions. Off the property our family enjoyed golf, lunch at a few ciderys and visiting the Hackett Park Art Show. We had a great week!

Spectacular views and setting

The first word that comes to mind when you see this house is, " wow"! The proximity to the water, even at low tide, is incredible. Launching kayaks was a breeze and there was great swimming right in front of the house. The home is beautiful, very comfortable and has the most amazing views you can imagine. There is a lot to do on the Sunshine Coast if you are into the outdoors, but you'll have trouble leaving the house and deck! It was fun to watch the seals, sea lions, river otters, bald eagles and more. I can't say enough about this property - we found it so hard to leave. The house was sparkling clean and Mark was a great host. Best place we've stayed in.
