Magnifique bungalow Craftsman 1917 magnifiquement amĂ©nagĂ© dans le premier quartier piĂ©ton de Seattle - thĂ©Ăątres, restaurants, boutiques et plus de magasins, parcs et sentiers pour la marche et le vĂ©lo; Ă  proximitĂ© des lignes de bus du centre-ville de Seattle, du Seattle Art Museum and Seattle Center et des trains Sound Transit; prĂšs des champs de tulipes et des ferries vers les Ăźles San Juan et les zones historiques au nord de Seattle; Mt. Rainier et Mount St. Helens est une excursion d'une journĂ©e; quartier calme et rĂ©sidentiel avec beaucoup de stationnement dans la rue. DĂ©tendez-vous dans le coin salon Ă  l'avant pour passer un moment tranquille sous la cerise qui pleure, profitez d'une courte promenade dans l'un des thĂ©Ăątres ou restaurants du quartier (sushi, italien, japonais, thaĂŻ, vĂ©gĂ©tarien, fusion, pizza, etc., etc.). Il n'y a rien dont vous aurez besoin que vous ne trouverez pas Ă  Wallingford. Great place to stay.

Very cozy apartment. The location was convenient and very walkable to local restaurants. Pleasant neighborhood, great for just strolling around. Garnett was very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with her.

Honeymoon Getaway

My wife and I enjoyed everything the house and neighborhood had to offer. Great restaurants, bars, and walking in the area. We cooked many meals in as well, enjoying the kitchen.

Best Stay!

This property was just enough space for my fiancé and I. Our trip in Seattle was busy, but this apartment really allowed us to decompress after a whirlwind of excitement. Coming from the South we were a little nervous about PNW hospitality, but Garnett made us feel right at home. I love this place. Definitely will be back in the future

Wallingford Gem!

I stayed here while working in Seattle. What a treat! The darling cottage was clean, well equipped and the perfect to environment to relax and unwind. I walked as much as I had time for- so many walkable options for eating, shopping, sightseeing. I look forward to visiting Garnett’s lovely home again!

What a perfect home away from home

I needed an in-city retreat, just a little break from my own home and stresses. I LOVE this spot. I felt like I was staying at a friend's place, but had the privacy and my own kitchen.The apartment is beautifully lit and colored. It's thoughtfully decorated -- love the art and the books next to the bed, which are perfect for reading before sleep. A lovely garden view in both the front and back -- I hope I can return sometime in the spring. The kitchen is well stocked with just about everything you'll need. The shower stall is a little small, but given everything else in the place, it's easy to withstand. So many vacation homes feel cold and soulless. Garnett's place is the exact opposite.

Wonderful Location and Host!

Fantastic location for exploring Wallingford and Fremont, with bus stops to get to most anywhere within a 5-15 minute walk! A small, quaint location that had just what we needed for our time there! The location is shared with two other "apartments" connected to the house, one occupied by Garnett, the host. During the three weeks here, we never heard any noises from the other parts of the home. Garnett was an amazing host! Very responsive and considerate. She even dropped off fresh-picked blueberries for us one night which was incredibly sweet! Overall, the property suited our needs perfectly for the price point and we loved our time here! Would absolutely recommend!

A Second Home in Seattle

We wish that we had a second home like Garnett's place! The sound of the fountain under the weeping cherry tree was welcoming, as was Garnett herself. The furnishings in the one-bedroom apartment were appropriate to the 1920's wood-framed house, but very thoughtfully laid out to make the space inviting and comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped; every need has been anticipated! We loved the decorations that we might have acquired on our travels ourselves. All this care made it second nature to care for the apartment as if it were our own. Garnett's description of the location, its proximity to restaurants, and the strollable neighborhood are all accurate. This is the first time I've stayed someplace where the host has put a nosegay of garden flowers on the bathroom sink!
