Welcome to Cascade Vue! This unit is located in a 5-unit apartment building and the entire complex has 3 buildings with a total of 15 units. Located just minutes from SeaTac Airport, this listing showcases a unit on the 2nd floor, featuring 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom - perfect for travelers and business professionals.

Please note that due to its proximity to SeaTac, the complex is under a flight path, which can result in considerable noise outside the buildings. However, it tends to quiet down after 10pm. To enhance your comfort, we’ve upgraded the windows to reduce noise and provide earplugs for sensitive guests.

**Things to Note**
- This unit is on the 2nd floor and the building does not have an elevator, so guests are expected to climb stairs. Being on the 2nd floor, you should expect having neighbors above. With wooden floors, you might hear guests in the upper unit. If you hear loud music, running, or stomping, please inform us so we can remind the guests upstairs. Similarly, please be respectful of our quiet hour policy as there might be guests below you.

- The laundry room is located on the ground floor, which is shared and free to use for all the guests.

- Parking is included for one vehicle per unit, with additional parking available on a first-come, first-served basis.

We try really hard to be clear about our expectations of our guests as well as what you can expect from our homes, and we believe most of our guests understand that and are awesome! But we did have enough trouble incidents that we have felt the need to outline in detail the guidelines we expect guests to follow, first and foremost being the quiet hours between 10pm and 8am which is really for the sake of our neighbors sanity. Really our goal is to provide the most a comfortable and clean well kept rental home, as well as, an awesome Seattle experience.

3.【NO SMOKING】
If any signs of smoking are detected, the guests agree to pay a $300 violation fee.

4.【NO ANIMAL】
Unfortunately this property is animal-free, NOT animal friendly because the homeowner is highly allergic to animal danders/hairs. We've got exemption from Airbnb so please DON'T book if you plan to bring an animal with you. Also note if an unauthorized animal is found in the vacation home, we will ask that it be removed immediately and a non-refundable fee of $500 (sometimes up to $1,000) will be charged.

5. 【NO SHOES】
We appreciate that you are helping to take care of the cleanliness of our house! Please kindly remove your shoes when you enter the house.

6.【Self Catering】
This is a self catering home. We will provide an initial starter supply such as toilet paper, etc. Extra supplies will need to be purchased from the store at your cost.

7.【Early check-in】
We’ll be happy to accommodate early check-in but there is an early check-in fee of $100. Availability is based on whether there are guests checking out on the same day as your arrival, so we can ONLY approve on a case by case basis once confirming with our cleaners that the home will be ready. Please check with us 1 day prior to your check-in date.

8.【Dispose trash in the right bins】
Please sort out garbage and recycles and dispose those into appropriate containers. If you are not sure, please leave them inside house and our cleaning crew will take care of them.

9. 【Lost & Found】
Please take all of your personal belongings before you check out. If you forget something at the house and would like us to ship it back to you, we will charge $50 handling fee + the shipping fee (receipt will be provided).

Les points forts : Propreté
Here are the following issues with this property:1. Vegetation around the signage which made it difficult to find the place, especially at night upon arrival.2. No exterior lighting for apartment numbers. There are [3] buildings on the property & all the apartment #'s are the same for each building. Guests went to the wrong building upon arrival. Fortunately, there was no one in that apt. which could have been dangerous if the ppl thought someone was trying to break in.3. The living room outlet was not working. All [5] outlets are wired to [1] breaker box. It took FOUR days b/f the host addressed this potential fire hazard issue - totally unacceptable.4. The host did not respond in a timely manner when trying to address maintenance & electrical issues.5. After a 3 minute shower, water was up to the ankles of the guest due to the tub not draining properly.I spent hours on the phone trying to trouble shoot maintenance & electrical issues for my loved ones. Vrbo's ridiculous policy about the electrical issue not meeting their 'safety protocols' is absurd. Anytime there is an outlet problem, there is usually something w/the wiring which can be a potential fire hazard. I called the Code Enforcement Office for Burien, WA only to find out that the property did NOT have a permit registered w/the city to operate the property as a Vrbo rental. Say what? Who does that! All these things were reported to Vrbo - and crickets with a response. Worst experience EVER!

The good: The host was very nice and responsive. The bad: The unit. The description doesn't even begin to describe the noise level here. In addition to being directly under the flight path, they are building an apartment complex right next door, and there is an auto body shop next door which are a day and night source of noise. In addition, there is no air conditioning, which is common in Seattle. The problem is, though, the noise. So....you can either have a breeze or block out (some) of the noise, but not both. In addition, the place is very run down, which isn't shown in the photos. Black mold in the shower area that has been painted over, but coming through. Generally, needs a TON of repair. Also, in a really bad area. No place to park. I would definitely steer clear.
