« Hillcrest inn was a treat, my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations. The staff were friendly and very helpful, the room although being in an older property was clean and comfy with a nostalgic charm that I am personally fond of. There’s a sauna, snacks, coffee, and a large dvd selection in the main office. What a great little getaway to bring in the new year! We will be back there soon for sure! »

« Lovely hotel. Great location and river view from the balcony. Comfortable bed. 24 hours swimming pool. Very friendly staff. Complimentary chowder and cookies at check in. Breakfast OK. Highly recommended! »

« The staff is friendly, and helpful, the property is well kept, and the room was clean and had all of the amenities. We have spent more money on other accommodations that were more spacious, this room was a little more cozy, but otherwise provided everything the more costly properties provided. « I loved the location, really close to the beach and walking distance to downtown. The place was clean, no A/C, could use a couple fans for warm nights while sleeping. I needed extra tp and towels, all I had to do was call and they brought them over. I do wish there was a broom and dustpan. Being so close to the beach, we did track in sand. We stayed several days, so it would've been nice to be able to clean up a bit. Other than that, it was great. »
