Primary Suite – A Private Coastal Retreat
Located on the first floor, the master suite features a king-size bed, a large flat-screen TV, and a beautifull en-suite bathroom with granite countertops, a tile floor, and a walk-in tile shower. Step out onto your private covered deck or screened porch to soak in the incredible views. Just beyond the deck, a short path leads to the Shelter Cove dock—perfect for crabbing, fishing, kayaking, or simply unwinding by the water. ** Seabrook Island Property Association (SIPOA) has started charging for all gate passes.
Gate passes are $45/ vehicle. This charge applies if you are staying 1 night – 179 nights. If you are staying more than 179 nights, there is a different charge.
MAXIMUM number of passenger vehicles which may be parked during the overnight hours of 11 pm-7am, which require a gate pass: 2
The first gate pass is included in your stay. You must call our office if you require more than one gate pass

Only GAS LSVS allowed- gate pass required
LSV (Low Speed Vehicle) RENTALS PERMITTED at this property. An LSV requires the use of one of the gate passes included in the maximum number of vehicles passes.
Requirements for LSVs
Must be registered and insured, have a 17-digit VIN and display an LSV license plate, display a valid SIPOA entry pass issued specifically to that vehicle. Drivers must have a valid driver s license. No off-road tires allowed
Usage Restrictions:
For street use only. No use on bicycle paths, walking paths, golf course cart paths, boardwalks, or beaches. Follow SIPOA vehicle and parking rules.
Safety Requirements: SC seat belt laws apply to all occupants. Child seats are a must. SIPOA officers and CCSO will stop vehicles with unsecured children

Pets NOT allowed

This property includes access to the Club amenities - oceanfront pools (seasonal), Pelican's Nest outdoor restaurant/bar (seasonal), Island House restaurant/bar, golf and tennis. Additional fees are charged for all activities. These cards also allow access to the Lake House facilities (outdoor pool - no fees; indoor pool/fitness center - fees apply).

Cancellation Policy:
For cancellation made up to 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will be refunded less a $250.00 cancellation fee.
For cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, all monies are forfeited. If we are able to rent the contracted dates after a cancellation, Guest will be refunded an amount equal to new rental rate minus the $250 Cancellation Fee. The amount refunded is not to exceed the amount paid by the Guest's under the terms of the Rental Agreement.

For monthly winter rentals the policy is as follows:
For cancellation made up to 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will be refunded less a $250.00 cancellation fee.
For cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, all monies are forfeited. Scenic sunsets

We enjoyed a wonderful week at this property on Seabrook Island. Having stayed on Kiawah Island previously, we were curious about how this location would compare in its proximity to Freshfields and access to the beach. We were pleased to discover that the various shops at Freshfields were equally accessible while beach access was even easier (more private). Beach chairs were also provided, which we were grateful for. The property itself is breathtaking when you enter through the front door and ascend the steps into the main living area. The tall windows overlooking the river let in warm natural light from sunrise to sunset. The dining area attached to the kitchen is thoughtful as well, but we particularly enjoyed sunset meals at the table by the tall windows. The kitchen is well stocked with all the cooking tools you may require, and there is a Keurig for those who prefer their coffee prepared that way. We greatly appreciated the quality and reliability of the appliances. Given its proximity to the marsh, and the time of year, we were not surprised to encounter a few critters (and a salamander who visited the balcony overlooking the marsh each night, and who we were careful not to disturb). If you are not comfortable encountering wildlife or the occasional "intruder," I would not recommend staying near a river in the South in late summer/early autumn. Bring your bug spray, and your sunscreen, and enjoy a peaceful, private stay at this beautifully designed property.

Seabrook island paradise

I lived on the island years ago. I know where the beautiful marsh views are and this was selected for that and did not disappoint. The condo not only had the best views from inside, but there were also 2 porches to enjoy the incredible views. The home had all the kitchen supplies we needed, and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit! Loved everything

1710 Shelter Cove

The views are amazing and peaceful; we enjoyed communing with nature. We would suggest the following: since this accommodates 4 adults, seating on the patio off the living room for 4 would be great. While the description refers to "levels," it would be best to describe them as flights of stairs, which they are, and getting to the kitchen from the parking lot with groceries is a bit of a haul. We were surprised to find that a fairly newly redone kitchen did not have a working ice maker in the refrigerator/freezer. Also, instruction booklets for the various appliances, perhaps in the binder, would be helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and have always loved Seabrook!

The views of the marsh and sunsets are spectacular. The views inside this home are just as impressive, as it is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. Although there are a lot of stairs for the four levels of living, each space is delightful and flows together like a dream. The owner has thought of nearly everything you could possibly need - we've stayed in many rentals and never experienced such a well-stocked kitchen as this. If we had to ride out a hurricane, this was the place to do so!

Overall the Villa was excellent. Multi Level with 2 bedrooms was perfect for our family. Only issue was the AC was fine in the master bedroom although the 2nd bedroom, living room etc needed a fan as it was not cooled well. Although with the fans moving the air it was fine. Great place to stay and Seabrook Island was super.

This was a comfortable and beautifully decorated condo. It felt very private but close to lake house pool, marina and the shops. The marsh view was wonderful and we really enjoyed the crabbing dock where some dolphins came through. Very enjoyable.

Seabrook Island is beautiful! The villa provided plenty of space for our 4 teenagers. The sofas were very cozy. There was a sufficient number of dishes and a variety of pots/pans for cooking. The master bedroom and bathroom were very damp. The bed linens, bath towels, and our clothes felt damp all week.

Wonderful experience

This property did not disappoint. We were travelling with 2 teenagers and this property allowed them to have privacy while my husband and I had privacy as well. The villa was clean and had the views were truly spectacular. We had always stayed in ocean front hotels, but the views of the salt marsh were just spectacular and peaceful. Also all amenities were within walking distances with the exception of the ocean front pool. Tennis courts, lake, library, fitness center and another large pool were less than a 5 minute walk. Fabulous vacation and property!

Perfect for our little family

This property was booked for a spring break trip for my son. He and my husband are golfers and wanted someplace relatively warm (we are from the Midwest) and close to multiple courses. They played 3 times in 6 days and this spot was perfect distance between all the courses. The property was unique in its layout of 3 floors, but we liked it and it had everything we needed. We would definitely rent again.

Beautiful views!

Amazing property that is very clean and updated. The views from the back sunroom table were amazing! We saw a dolphin just outback in the marsh and enjoyed watching and identifying birds. The pool across the street was very convenient. The pool/beach at the clubhouse were amazing and enjoyable afternoons with the family. Would definitely stay here again and come back to Seabrook island!
