Hop in your rowboat from the pier or put in your fishing boat at the Sayner boat ramp just minutes away to spend the day trying to catch the elusive muskellunge. End each evening with your fresh catch on the grill with one of the best sunset views in the area. Or sit around the fire pit just outside your cabin and listen to the soothing sounds of the Northwoods lulling you to sleep. Northwoods cabin is well suited for a small family or a couple looking to enjoy a weekend away; the well-appointed kitchen and living space are great for a game of cribbage or Yahtzee, and the front porch has a beautiful view for gazing at the stars. In the winter enjoy the close access to the well-groomed snowmobile, snow-shoeing and cross-country ski trails and at night warm yourself by the fireplace.

Local shops in Sayner provide a nice break when the rain comes and Sayner also boasts the Vilas County Historical Museum with a wonderful look at the past. After a day on the water, you can fully relax outside on your deck or on the lawn. You’ll also find a number of historic and wonderful restaurants in the area, the closest less than a mile away. Gas station located in Sayner, 1.5 miles from the cabin with a beer cooler and snacks. The bike trail is also a short 1.5 miles from the cabin with local bike, kayak and SUP rentals in Sayner.
Plum Lake is a 1057 acre lake located in Vilas County. It has a maximum depth of 57 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from two public boat landings. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye. Star Lake is a 1,219 acre lake located in Vilas County. It has a maximum depth of 68 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from at least two boat landings. Fish include Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye. The lake's water is moderately clear.
