The White Owl is a 3BR-2½BA home with radiant heat floors and elegant furnishings. The living room offers great views and a gas fireplace. The kitchen features high-end appliances. The primary bedroom has a king bed and chic bath with twin marble vanities and a walk-in shower. One guest room has a queen bed, the other has bunk beds (twin, full) with a twin trundle. Includes 3 Smart TVs, EV charger, outdoor hot tub, fire pit, and patio. Near beaches, cafes, pubs, shops, and more!
The Space:
Enchanting and richly designed, this home’s newly upgraded interior is brimming with elegant yet comfortable furnishings throughout! The living room features a cozy gas fireplace, lots of light, and great views of the patio and backyard. The well-stocked kitchen comes with high-end appliances, a butcher-block breakfast nook with stools, and all the utensils and cookware you need.
Each bedroom is a perfect combination of comfort and style – we use only high-quality bedding and linens to ensure a good night’s sleep. All the furnishings and décor are hand-selected with aesthetic appeal and practical use in mind.

The sumptuous primary ensuite has a luxurious bathroom with twin sinks, marble vanities, and a walk-in shower. The other 2 bathrooms (one powder room and one full) are styled with classic fixtures and handsome wooden cabinetry, and the full bath has a whirlpool tub that is ideal for bathing children after a fun day of play.
Radiant heat in concrete floors throughout. Includes high-speed internet, 3 Smart TVs (in the master bedroom, one guest bedroom, and the living room), an EV charger, and outdoor living space with a hot tub, gas grill, fire pit, and patio furnishings.
Located near the fabulous beaches at Warren Dunes State Park, outstanding craft-brew pubs, restaurants, coffeehouses, boutique shops, golf, and summer and winter activities galore. Perfect for families, there are school sports fields behind the house (a 1-minute walk) with a basketball court, soccer field, picnic tables, and even frisbee golf. When it’s time for some fun in the water, Harbert Beach is only a 4-minute drive or 10-minute bike ride away!
Harbert is a delightful destination with a range of activities and attractions for visitors. For those who love antiques, the Harbert Antique Mall is a fantastic place to explore unique items from various vendors, offering a variety of vintage collectibles and decor pieces.
Nature enthusiasts will find the Harbert Road Nature Preserve a serene spot for hiking, bird watching, and enjoying the natural beauty of the area. Additionally, Harbert Community Park is a family-friendly location featuring a Little League baseball field, playground, fishing pond, sand volleyball courts, and a dog park. In the winter, the park transforms into an ice skating rink and a smaller rink for young children, complete with free ice skates. Art lovers should not miss the Judith Racht Gallery, which showcases contemporary art and fine crafts, highlighting the talents of local artists. For a culinary treat, Cafe Gulistan offers delicious Mediterranean cuisine, making it a popular dining spot in Harbert.

Guest Access:
The White Owl does not have garage access. The EV charger is conveniently located on a hook beside the garage's exterior door.
Other Things to Note:
To ensure a safe and compliant stay, all guests are required to complete identity verification prior to check-in. A valid government-issued photo ID will be collected and verified, and the name on the ID must match the credit card used for payment. When applicable, a background screening may also be required as part of the booking process.
All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home's Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed-upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing vacation travel insurance if you suspect you may need to cancel your reservation.
The minimum age to rent this home is 25.
Pets are not allowed at this home.
A non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver is included with your reservation. This waiver covers accidental damage or loss to the rental property caused by you or members of your party up to a maximum of $2,000. This plan does not cover intentional acts, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.

We had such a wonderful stay at The White Owl! The design of the house was thoughtful and welcoming, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially enjoyed unwinding in the hot tub after a full day and gathering around the fire pit in the evenings to roast marshmallows and make s’mores. It was the perfect combination of comfort and fun. Highly recommend The White Owl for anyone looking for a cozy and memorable stay!

Beautiful house! The hot tub was perfect and the house is only a 5 minute drive to the Warren Dunes and quick drives to both Sawyer and Three Oaks which are both charming towns!

Perfect Chicago Escape
The White Owl was the perfect stay for the 6 of us wanting a weekend away from Chicago. The house was so warm and inviting that we barely wanted to leave the property, except for a quick beach afternoon and to get food. Having 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths was ideal for a group of 6, plus the hot tub and electric fireplace were nighttime staples. 10/10 would stay again.

We very much enjoyed our stay—beautiful home/property, great amenities, and super close to both nature and all the best Sawyer has to offer. The owners were very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. Also, it was great to have a pack and play and other accoutrements necessary for the infant and toddler we had with us. Would love to stay here again!

By far the best decorated and most adorable place we've stayed at. They had everything we needed, were terrific to deal with and close to everything we had planned in the area.

Great place!
What a wonderful home! My girlfriends and I stayed here for the weekend and loved everything about the house--the location, the layout, the comfortable bedrooms, the electric fireplace, and the hot tub! The house is conveniently located between New Buffalo and St. Joseph, where we did some holiday shopping and dining. We took a walk along the beach in the beautiful Warren Dunes, just a few minutes away. We highly recommend this home!

Cute little house!
My husband, our two young boys (5&8), and my mom stayed here for 5 nights and found the house very comfortable and well stocked. I really liked the short list of checkout items verse some of the other places we have stayed. There were some issues with the amenities but the Juniper team was quick to respond and offer a solution. I would absolutely book through Juniper again!

Everything was great and very clean. However the address on VRBO is wrong. Luckily we had the address from the text messages. Also there is a bit of an ant issue going on inside the house. But it was a wonderful stay!

Relaxing short trip!
We loved our stay at the White Owl! The home is newly constructed, in a quiet neighborhood close to New Buffalo and minutes from Warren Dunes. My husband and I enjoyed the spacious home, the heated floors, fireplace and hot tub where all amazing additions to the home that made our stay wonderful! Do your self a favor and try out the local coffee shop in Sawyer, which is just minutes away! This home is perfect for families or for a romantic getaway with your significant other. Highly recommend!

Great Place Close to Beaches and Bakery
Enjoyed our stay at this great location--close to Lake MI beaches and to our favorite bakery and fresh fruit/veggie stand. Fully-equipped house. Enjoyed the outdoor seating relaxing times in the hot tub and around the wood fire pit. Great communication (always timely and thorough) with property manager before, during, and after check-out. Would most definitely reserve this property for future trips to this area! Thanks!

Highly recommend
Everything about the trip was better than expected. Communication with the host was prompt and easy. The property was just as described/pictured if not better. We were with our 1 year old and there were many items that made the stay easy, relaxing and enjoyable. The fact that there was a high chair and children’s items available was amazing. The location was also perfect and close to grocery stores and restaurants as well as breweries. The stay was rejuvenating and we look forward to returning.

Great place!
We really loved this place. Had a little family and friend getaway and it was the perfect size for us. I will say the description says for 8 people. But I don’t think more than 7 should stay. One can sleep on the couch so if you’re not picky about where you sleep then it’s not bad. But it’s not a pull out. We went with 6 people and it was perfect for us. The hot tub was great and we didn’t really have any neighbors so privacy was great ;) Check in was easy. Communication with the renters was great. Thanks for the great time!

Great Stay!
The house was beautiful and clean and we were welcomed with a bottle of red wine! The beds were very comfortable and the Hot Tub was amazing. It was great to see how well the backyard was set up lots of amenities and very private. It rained the entire weekend we were there, so we didn't get to use all of it, but I would look forward to coming back in a warmer season.
My only recommendation to management would be that the kitchen could benefit from some additions like tinfoil, nicer cooking utensils, or some additional seasoning. outside of the struggle to cook breakfast, everything was great!
Just a note: This property is managed by a vacation rental company, so be aware they will make you sign a secondary waiver and provide a copy of your ID prior to check-in.

Spacious No steps everything on one level
The accommodations were okay- excellent response from management—we appreciated the 220 electric vehicle charger. But it was lacking hospitable touches like most places we’ve stayed— bare minimum-no sugar- no paper towels; 4 garbage bags -tiny cheap containers of shampoo, conditioners and slivers of soap. Comfortable beds-good closets. Kitchen was spacious with a big pantry and a VitaMix- decent knives-cheap cooking utensils. You had to use a step ladder To reach the stackable washer and dryer. The patio is large but devoid of furniture. There was a grill but furious there was NO place to eat outside. There should be a table with an umbrella and 6 chairs The living room was comfortable but dark and needed more lights. There were no lights on the long walkway to the door and when we came back at night it was pitch black! For the rental cost the owners need to do some upgrading and provide a more generous and welcoming environment.
