The Accommodations

Located in a Federalist-style building just off Crawford Square in Savannah's sought-after historic district, freshly remodeled Crawford Coastal creates a comfortable coastal vibe, greeting you with welcoming shades of blue, white, grey and seafoam green. The open floorplan creates a positive sense of space.

Coastal décor hits just the right note. A plush living room couch with soft throw pillows faces the new wall-mounted smart TV. Botanical prints provide pops of green, while attractive built-ins feature books and decorative glassware. Room-spanning cabinets act as wainscoting, with an overhead fan maintaining comfort.

An all-new kitchen features full-size stainless-steel appliances, including a French door fridge/icemaker, smart range/oven, microwave and dishwasher. Stylish glass tiles highlight the feature backsplash, while a coffee maker claims pride of place on generous quartz countertops. Custom cupboards and drawers include all the cookware, culinary tools, utensils, tableware, and glasses you'll need – simply contribute your own fresh ingredients of choice! An appealing island provides bar-height seating for four.

The private master suite and bath await in fresh blues and whites, creating a relaxing, inviting atmosphere, while a new king-sized bed and Saatva mattress invites you to enjoy an exceptional and quiet night's sleep.

Your Savannah Itinerary
Historic Savannah is just around the corner when you stay at Crawford Coastal. Centrally located as one the district's 22 squares, Crawford dates to 1841. It is named after William Harris Crawford, who acted as Secretary of the Treasury in the early 19th century.

Crawford Square is small in area compared to other squares, but it is distinctive in a number of ways. It is the only square still bordered with a fence, although all were fenced in the distant past. It boasts a lovely gazebo perfect for picnicking and live music events. It also has a basketball court and a children's playground. It's a great destination for a stroll around the neighborhood, a bit of recreation or some relaxing alone time.

On an interesting historical note, Crawford Square was the only integrated place where African Americans were welcome during the South's Jim Crow era. It also retains a cistern, which hearkens back to firefighting's early days. All the 22 town squares once had one, but only Crawford's remains.

Crawford Coastal is a comfortable walk from Colonial Park Cemetery, which has been a city park since the late 1890s. At that point, no new burials had occurred in the cemetery for several decades. For that reason, it does not include any Confederate soldiers, but has around 700 victims of the yellow fever outbreak of the 1820s.

Colonial Park Cemetery is an important stop on several Savannah ghost tours. If you like a good scare, consider signing up. You'll learn more about the haunted history of the place.

Southern Belle Pool
Our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located at 19 Silver Ave, Tybee Island, GA 31328. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island.
The Pool is open during the below dates and times.

March 1 - Oct 31: Open 7 days a week from 10am-5pm.
Nov 1 - Feb 28/29: Open Friday and Saturday from 10am-5pm

Additional Pool Hours available during the off-season are listed below. If these dates fall in the middle of the week, the pool will be open as listed below and every Friday and Saturday.

BEAUTIFUL, COMFORTABLE & CLEAN!! (but I won't stay here in the future)

This was the CLEANEST VRBO property I've ever stayed in!! Every appliance, every baseboard, every towel and sheet were so clean! I am picky about beds and pillows and these were absolutely comfortable. The lighting was super bright and easily dimmable. Plenty of natural lighting available also. Checking in and out was simple and communication was great! You couldn't ask for a better location. Its a small quiet street just a 15 minute walk to everything historic downtown has to offer. So why won't I stay there again? This is a first floor apartment and there seems to be a lack of sound dampening between the ceiling and the floor above it. The constant clomping around upstairs went on from early morning to late at night and it was extremely loud. No partying or music, just stomping sounds. I thought maybe the unit was being worked on, but then I saw the resident and it was just an average person wearing tennis shoes. I did not notify mgmt because no one did anything wrong. There were two small issues I also encountered - 1. the shower water pressure was so low it was difficult to rinse shampoo from my hair, and 2. The outlets on each side of the bed did not work (not a breaker issue). If you're not bothered by upstairs noise, then I cannot think of a reason not to stay here. It has everything you could want, quality finishes and appliances, comfortable furniture, room to breathe, extraordinary cleanliness and communicate mgmt!!

The place was pretty and located in a seemingly good neighborhood. Upon arrival there were dirty linens left by the washer/dryer set up and dirty utensils along with a dead bug in the utensil drawer. Our upstairs neighbors were very loud and we didn’t get much sleep the first night after a long nine hour drive. Parking wasn’t bad but not great, we prefer to have designated parking close to where we are staying but there were a few times we had to park further away and walk several minutes to our place. Again, it wasn’t terrible and I’m thankful the neighborhood seemed safe because that made the walk easier.

Limited necessities

Overall our stay was very nice, except there was no spices/seasonings, limited bathroom tissues (very inconvenient) no laundry detergent, limited bathroom towels. We have been to several vacation rentals that provide these necessities…these things are important especially when traveling.

The space was very well maintained and clean. Everything as described in the listing. Had everything we needed, but did ask for towels, which were quickly delivered. Street parking wasn't an issue (though it was offseason). 10/10 would stay again.

Our stay was perfect! The location was quiet and great walking distance from everything. Such a beautiful town and so much to do with a short walk. Could not have been a better experience! I would recommend to anyone who wants a beautiful, clean vrbo in Savannah!!!

This was our first time to Savannah. We absolutely loved it. It was the perfect location. It’s a little off the busiest areas but so close that we walked everywhere. Very quiet. The condo was plenty big for my husband and I. Highly recommend this location.
