Saugatuck Lodge

Saugatuck Lodge is a stunning downtown Saugatuck retreat, perfectly designed for large groups, family reunions, or friends' getaways. With spacious living areas, a private pool, hot tub, and multiple bedrooms across the main home and pool house, this home offers everything needed for relaxation, connection, and fun. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated to provide comfort, convenience, and style.

The private pool and hot tub are the heart of the property, creating a resort-like backyard that invites you to unwind and play. The expansive fenced-in deck surrounds a sparkling swimming pool, ideal for lounging under the sun, cooling off in the water, or enjoying an afternoon swim with friends and family. The year-round hot tub offers the perfect way to relax after a day exploring Saugatuck or taking in the beaches, while the poolside seating and BBQ grill make it easy to enjoy meals or casual drinks outdoors. Whether it's sunbathing, swimming, or stargazing in the warm bubbles of the hot tub, this outdoor space is a sanctuary for fun and relaxation.

The main level of the home features two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, an open-concept kitchen, dining area, and living room, as well as a secluded den with a sleeper sofa and TV for quiet evenings or movie nights. The layout is perfect for groups to gather while still providing private spaces to retreat. The home is split into two separate upstairs wings, each with multiple bedrooms and a full bathroom, offering privacy and comfort for larger groups. The pool house provides two additional bedrooms and two bathrooms, making it ideal for multi-generational stays or extended families.

Downtown Saugatuck is just steps away, placing you in the heart of a vibrant small town. Stroll along the waterfront boardwalk, explore charming boutiques and galleries, or savor a meal at one of the many fine or casual restaurants. Ice cream parlors, coffee shops, art studios, and sculpture parks are all within walking distance, making it easy to enjoy a day without ever needing a car. The lively downtown scene and welcoming community atmosphere create the perfect blend of excitement and relaxation.

When the call of Lake Michigan beckons, you have multiple options for sand, surf, and sun just minutes away. Oval Beach, one of Michigan's most famous beaches, offers pristine sand and convenient parking right at the shoreline. Douglas Beach Park provides a free, family-friendly option with amenities like restrooms and easy access for a full day at the lake. For those who love nature and hiking, Saugatuck Dunes State Park combines scenic trails with secluded beach spots, perfect for a peaceful escape or an adventurous day exploring dunes, forests, and shoreline. Whether swimming, sunbathing, or taking in the stunning sunsets over the lake, these nearby beaches make every day feel like a classic Michigan summer.

Saugatuck Lodge offers the ultimate combination of comfort, convenience, and charm. Between the pool and hot tub, spacious living areas, multiple bedrooms, and unbeatable location near downtown and the lake, it's the perfect setting for lasting memories with family and friends. From morning coffee on the porch to evening dips in the pool, this home is designed to help you relax, reconnect, and make every moment count.

Please Note
- This is a historic Saugatuck cottage. The beautiful floors are original (some of the wallpaper too), some doorways are a bit narrow, and it's full of charm and character throughout.
- The swimming pool and hot tub are to be used at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty.
- The bedrooms above the kitchen are at the end of the line for central heating and cooling. Wall unit AC and space heaters are provided during the summer months to keep you comfortable.
