Vacation Apartment at Nordwald, Saterland

The vacation apartment (approx. 81 m², with a separate staircase) is located in a quiet area at the end of a cul-de-sac, so there is no through traffic to disturb you. The Dumstorff family consists of Ebby and Gerd, their two sons, and the family dog Sam, a Labrador.

The layout of the vacation apartment is well thought out and modern. Every window has blackout curtains and insect screens.
There is a small patio with a table, chairs, and a bench.
You can park your vehicle in the carport. There’s also the option to charge electric cars and e-bikes here (for a fee).

The vacation apartment is located in the beautiful town of Saterland, in the Sedelsberg district, in a quiet spot on the edge of the forest, yet relatively close to the town center.

There are various shopping options here: a grocery store with a bakery and cafeteria, a bistro-style restaurant, and a kebab shop.
There is also a pharmacy, a general practitioner, and a dental office in town. 
At Sedelsberg Sports Park, you’ll find a multi-sport facility for basketball, soccer, tennis, badminton, and other sports. There’s a beach volleyball court, a calisthenics park, and a skate park. 
For bike rides and walks, there is the beautifully situated Ententeich with the Seelterlounder Leerpaad nature trail, which describes the flora and fauna of this area.
The Tellmann car dealership in Sedelsberg also offers e-bike rentals. 
More than 60 km of rivers and canals provide ideal conditions for fishing. Canoeing is also possible at the paddle and pedal station in the neighboring village of Strücklingen.
The expansive moorland and well-mapped bike paths invite you to explore at any time. If you’d like to learn more about our moor, peat, or the fen landscape, the Moor and Fen Museum in Elisabethfehn—14 km away—is a great place to visit, or you can bike right out into the moor yourself.
Extensive maps of bike paths and routes are available free of charge. 

Sedelsberg is located about 100 km from the most popular North Sea destinations. The town has excellent road connections, so you can easily and quickly spend a day at the beach.
In the Scharrel district, you can visit a well-preserved mill. Maiglöckensee Lake is perfect for walks around the lake. The Landidyll Saterland offers an indoor riding arena with a riding school and a farm café.

In the district of Ramsloh, you’ll find additional shopping options, such as Aldi, Lidl, and Markant, as well as an ice cream parlor with a restaurant. There’s also a recreational pool here with a slide and a cafeteria.
In the heart of the Oldenburger Münsterland vacation and holiday region lies the “city triangle”: the district capital Oldenburg (in Olbg.), the county seat Cloppenburg, and the East Frisian city of Leer. These can be reached in about 30 minutes and are always inviting for a visit or a shopping trip. Each of the three cities has a pedestrian zone.
The region offers a wide variety of activities and destinations worth visiting. There are cultural attractions, such as an old Johanniter chapel in Bokelesch (16 km away) or windmills, as well as many opportunities for recreational activities, such as playing golf at the Thülsfelder Dam (23 km away), the climbing forest and zoo in Thüle (17 km away), a boat ride on the “Spitzhörn” in Barßel Harbor (17 km away), fishing in various bodies of water, the proximity to Lake Bad Zwischenahn (29 km away), a train ride to the moor, a visit to the Harkebrügge Barefoot Park (14 km away), or a tour of the Meyer Shipyard in Papenburg (29 km away).
