Our stay here was literally perfect! We stayed for 4 nights and we wish we could’ve stayed more. Elizabeth was super helpful and friendly. She arranged our transportation from the airport and helped us in planning our itenerary.

It has beautiful sea views. Near to everything max 15 mins drive, quiet and private. Elizabeth was very helpful, she knows everything about the area. She provided early check-in too.

My stay at the Theano Cave Suites was exquisite! I could not ask for a better host! Elizabeth was so attentive and helpful! A1 top notch service! I would stay here again in a heartbeat! I loved my villa! It was literally spotless! Had such an amazing experience! Definitely a 5 star property and well worth what we spent!

We just got back from the most amazing, relaxing week. The cave was so special with lots of room and a fabulous pool. We were really looked after by the staff and the breakfasts were so generous. Elizabeth was a great host who helped us organise everything we needed to have exactly the holiday we wanted. We didn’t want to leave. We would advise hiring a car to make sure you see all the island has to offer but this is such a well located base to explore from. We would definitely return!

Incredible property! The staff and manager went above and beyond with their service. Rooms were clean. A delicious and plentiful breakfast was delivered to the suite every morning. Any requests we made were tended to immediately (booking a driver, making restaurant reservations, etc.). The view from the private pool was amazing. The suite itself was unlike any other property I’ve stayed at. Very unique and private. Giving this 5 stars, but be aware that this location is not near anything. It’s rather remote (if you want quiet and peaceful, this is your spot) so you will need to book drivers/Uber to get anywhere, which can be pricey.

A perfect little getaway spot

I stayed at Theano Cave Suites for 3 nights and it was the best. I had the Grand suite with the private little pool and it was awesome. Elizabeth was great and gave me some great tips and helped arrange most of my transportation while in Santorini. Breakfast was lovely and brought straight to my room every morning and it was always a bit different which was nice. Across the street is the Fira to Oia hiking trail which I highly recommend taking the 50-60 min hike to Fira where most of the shops and restaurants are. The views along the way are just stunning. Theano is nicely situated about 15-20 min drive from most of your go to spots, i.e. Oia, Fira, Kamari and also the airport. You can rent a car or just take a taxi like I did. The cabs are mostly around 30-40 euros for the single trip. Just make sure you have cash because they rarely take cards. I will definitely be coming back here again when I visit Santorini. Thanks to Elizabeth and all the staff for a great stay!

The room itself is stunning, quirky cave with a lot of space, the bed was comfy and the shower powerful , the view is the opposite side of the caldera but beautiful none the less, uninterrupted views and a lovely tranquil outdoor space to watch the sun rise or set , breakfast was superb and served outside the room so add this option on if you can , room was super clean, crisp white, host provided great communication, it’s a quiet spot about 10 mins from the main town which makes it nice and quiet at night, ample parking and a few amenities eg fridge, sink, plates coffee machine kettle which are all really useful, we visited at the end of the season and unfortunately we couldn’t get the air con to blow cold air only warm , given it’s a cave with no windows it spoilt the night for 1 room whilst we had a fan for the other, if that hadn’t been the the case I would have rated it a 5 out of 5, just a little too hot inside for me personally to sleep unfortunately, I usually have air con on at home or the window open , I like freezing cold rooms, most people probably wouldn’t have an issue with it in October and I suspect as its the very end of Santorini season the machine will be fixed and ready to go for next so yes I recommend this as a good place to stay

First of all this property is beautiful and super well maintained. Our host Elizabeth made our stay just amazing. She took care of every little detail. She reached out to us a couple of days before our arrival to arrange for our transportation from the port. Every day she met with us to plan our day and she simply made every day perfect. She even arranged for a photographer to take family pictures and flying dress picture for my daughter. We loved our days here. From the amazing breakfast that adjusted to our taste to the heated pool we enjoyed every day.
