A terrible experience. My family and I planned a two days trip to Santo Domingo. The first day we needed to go for medical services and decided to stay in this hotel so we didn't have to drive back for almost two hours at night. We made our reservation and paid it in full. Oh surprise! When we arrived at the hotel our main interaction was with the security guard who asked someone over Whatsapp voice messages about us. She hesitated at first, but then told him that THEY GAVE OUR ROOM TO SOMEONE ELSE. Then she went on to offer us a room that was not ready, needed a shower installed and had two big washing machines inside. We are normally very flexible people, but the fact that she DIDNT CARE AT ALL, and all she had to say was "We don't have more rooms, what else can I do"? Made this situation totally unacceptable. I think that the minimum she could do was to apologize, which she never did. I hope we do get our refund.
The place was nice I can't complain at all the air conditioning wasn't as strong as I thought it was and the bathroom needs a little bit of tlc. The glass for the shower was loose. The lighting for the ceiling in had an exposed hole in it. The towel rack holder where it used to be had the holder there but no rack which I found strange.
I stay 1 night there, it was just a little complicated the communication to access to the building, and pictures of the rooftop are not update, the terrace doesnt look like that anymore! Except that, the rooms are clean, modern, comfortable with space, very comfy ; )
