Santee Stay

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Loved the location. Loved the view of the lake and that it was an end unit. The house was pretty clean. The main bath's shower clogged a few times and the main bedroom's tv didnt have streaming options. Only other thing was we couldn't sit outside on patio overlooking the lake due to alot of bird droppings. I would stay there again if I was in the area.

Beautiful location

We enjoyed staying in this spacious townhome on the lake. It is a great location and a very scenic, peaceful spot. The host was very responsive and tried to accommodate our needs/requests.

Beautiful

Loved everything about this VRBO. We felt like we’re were at home with the most beautiful view. Have already booked for next year. The Host was responsive and the ease of this rental was beyond compare. Highly recommend.

Home away from home

We live and work locally and had to move out of our house for a week while our hardwood floors were being redone after a major water leak. This place worked out great. Almost like a mini vacation!

Relaxing

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was just as advertised. Due to inclement weather we didn’t get to enjoy the lake each day as was the plan, but we did get one great and one good day of the five days there. We enjoyed morning walks across the old 301 bridge that spans the lake and highly recommend The Lake House restaurant/pub on the north shore of the lake.

Mixed emotions

The location of the property was gorgeous. We enjoyed seeing the lake and landscape when arriving at the site. The apartment was unkempt inside and out. One had to fight with bugs and spiders while trying to enter the place. The linen on the beds were either dingy or not cleaned. As an executive I would not ever stay there again.

Super Homey!

We came for the weekend my Hubbys birthday! My parents and sister and hubby visited for a few hours to celebrate. Very spacious, neat clean - very homey, but on the lake. Kitchen very stocked with pans dishes even a crock pot! Can’t wait to visit again! Hopefully weather will cooperate next time.

The patio had not been cleaned. There was a bird nest at the top left side of the sliding door and bird poop was piled in the lower left corner.

Escape to relaxation on the water

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was exactly like the pics. Lake Marion is literally steps outside of the back door. We randomly fished all day and night catching bream, catfish and white perch. Everybody (residents/ vacationers) were all so friendly.

Beautiful place/great location - unfortunate situation

The condo was great and the location was beautiful. Unfortunately we didnt get to enjoy it because management rented it to us knowing roofers were coming for the week and did not inform us. Pool was closed most of week, we couldnt come and go. Roofers worked from 630 am to 800 pm daily. We rented another hotel room for a night just so we could use a pool and not have constant construction. We looked forward to this vacation for a year and i specifically booked for pool. Its unfortunate management didnt even credit us for a night. It seems that our enjoyment of our vacation property held no value. Its unfortunate because its a great place but I cant provide a good review because i feel taken advantage of. This place should not have been rented during construction.

Peaceful lake front property

Beautiful view of Lake Marion. Condo was very clean and spacious. Kitchen was well equipped and bathrooms had plenty of towel, soap shampoo etc. I would highly recommend this condo.

Gorgeous view!

This condo had a gorgeous view of the lake! The interior decor was a cute beach/waterside theme. It was clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The shower had two heads and it was very refreshing. It was very roomy. Great place for a getaway or a weeklong stay!
