This was the 2nd time that our family stayed at this condo, the first being in the summer of 2019. The space, the pool, and the location were great, but over the last few years it seems that several things have not been taken care of and we were very disappointed this year.
1. Cockroaches - We found several cockroaches throughout the condo - bathroom, kitchen counter, under kitchen sink, etc. While we recognize these are pests that are normal in the area, it is unacceptable to have found a handful throughout the week in a 4th floor condo. Also, upon arriving home, one was found in our luggage that had sat inside a bedroom closet.
2. Washing Machine - The washing machine would shake and rattle so badly that it sounded like it was going to come through the walls or fall through the floor. We let maintenance know about this after it happened the first time, but no one visited to take a look.
3. Coffee Machine - The standard coffee maker stopped working halfway through the week.
4. Kitchen Sink Faucet - The faucet handle is literally being held together with electrical tape. It worked, but it looked disgusting and seemed at risk of completely breaking each time we used it.
5. Bathroom Toilets - Both master bathroom ensuite toilets ran the entire week. They worked, but it was an annoyance.
6. Toaster - The toaster only toasts on one side of each slot.
7. Wifi - It would go in and out to the point where we couldn't use our devices and watch tv at the same time. In 2022, almost every family member has a device that requires wifi, so this was a problem.
8. Mouse Poop - There appeared to be mouse poop behind the tall dresser in the back master bedroom. This was not noticed until the last day of our trip and when coupled with the cockroaches, it seems the cleaning is not effectively happening.
9. Light Bulbs - Of the 4 recessed ceiling lights over the dining table, 3 were out. We let maintenance know immediately about this iss as well, and someone came within a couple of days to change them, but this seems like something that a cleaning crew should have noticed and addressed in between rental groups if they were effectively doing their job.
10. Breaker - One fuse in particular blew multiple times throughout the week.
11. Rear Master Jet Tub - A ton of black specks came flying out of the jets, clearly displaying the jets had not been cleaned in some time.
