Summary:

Watch the sun sink into the Pacific from your private rooftop plunge pool under a palapa. Casita Blanca is a 3-bedroom, 3-bath home in quiet Don Goyo, La Barra, about 20 minutes on foot from the beach and La Punta's surf, cafés and restaurants. A/C in every bedroom, a kitchen with an espresso machine, washer and dryer, gated parking and a backup generator. Sleeps six: ideal for families, friends and surfers.



The Space:

Rooftop: the heart of the house. A plunge pool, a palapa with lounge seating and wide views over Puerto Escondido and the Pacific. It's the best sunset spot in La Barra.



Bedrooms: two king beds and one double bed, spread across the levels for privacy. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom, air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a mini fridge and closet space.



Living and kitchen: a bright, open living and dining area with big sliding doors that let the ocean breeze in. The kitchen has a gas cooktop island, espresso machine, blender, rice maker, microwave and toaster, plus children's dinnerware. There's a smart TV with streaming apps and a sound system.



Outdoors: an outdoor shower to rinse off after the beach and a gated stone parking area inside the property.



Extras: washer and dryer, hair dryer, a laptop-friendly workspace and room-darkening shades.



Guest Access:

The whole home is yours: all three bedrooms, the living and kitchen areas, the rooftop terrace with plunge pool, the laundry area and the gated parking inside the property. There's also a garden pool beside the house.



The Neighborhood:

Casita Blanca is in Fraccionamiento Don Goyo, a quiet residential pocket of La Barra. You get open views and steady ocean breezes, and the beach at La Punta, with its surf breaks, cafés, restaurants, yoga studios and shops, is about 20 minutes on foot.



Nearby favorites include Playa La Punta for surf and sunsets, Playa Zicatela, Carrizalillo and Bacocho beaches, the Mercado Benito Juárez and the bioluminescent lagoon at Manialtepec.



Getting Around:

The beach and La Punta are about 20 minutes on foot, and the walk is mostly flat. Taxis and scooters are easy to find around Puerto Escondido. The airport (PXM) is about 20 minutes by car. There's free parking inside the gated property.

HOUSE RULES

• Quiet residential neighborhood: no parties or events. Quiet hours 10 PM–7 AM.

• No smoking indoors. Please smoke only in the garden or parking area.

• Please use the outdoor shower after the beach to keep sand out of the house.

• All guests must sign the rental agreement before arrival (a secure link is sent in advance and is required to access the property).



ELECTRICITY

Your stay includes 65 kWh of electricity per day. Usage above this is charged at $5 MXN per extra kWh. Consumption is monitored daily, and meter readings are available on request. Turning off the A/C when you leave keeps most guests well within the allowance.



HURRICANE SEASON

Casita Blanca has a backup generator, so the house stays powered if the mains go down. Outages and storm-related disruptions are outside our control and are not eligible for refunds. If severe weather prevents travel, the booking's cancellation policy applies. We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers weather events, and we'll keep you updated if a storm is forecast.



ONGOING IMPROVEMENTS

Light landscaping is being finished in the yard (moving sand and laying grass). No heavy machinery or power tools are used.
