Sun Haven is a vacation rental that lives up to its name.
This luxurious resort has a stunning tropical pool, playground, spa, sports court, and clubhouse, all within walking distance. Santa Clara's weather and environment allow you to golf all year round at one of the dozens of golf courses nearby. Outdoor activities are a must and range from hiking the local trails to horseback riding downtown. Restaurants, shopping, family entertainment, and more are just a short drive from Ocotillo Springs. Sun Haven is a contemporary two-story 3 bedroom / 3.5 bathroom townhome that can sleep up to 10 people comfortably but can also sleep 12 with the assistance of a Queen Sofa sleeper. The first level is spacious and roomy, with high ceilings, tall windows, and a flat-screen smart tv equipped with Hulu Live. A welcoming, open-style floor plan makes it easy for your group to spend time together AND find quiet moments for yourself. Enjoy meals together around the dining room table, or take it to the back patio for a BBQ and enjoy the breathtaking Southern Utah backdrop. As you head upstairs, you will be welcomed into the open and roomy loft, with all three bedrooms surrounding, each including its ensuite bathroom. Professional interior design and all-new appliances and furnishings make Sun Haven the perfect setting for your next family vacation, corporate retreat, or romantic couples' getaway.

The place itself was very nice. We had a couple issues. We got there and opened up the cupboard to get out a plate and the top 2 plates had food completely covering them. Looked like someone ate off it and then just put it back in the cupboard and didn’t bother to try and even rinse it off. Fork was the same way. Made us really question what cleaning if any was done and if our bed sheets or anything were washed between users.Other major issue was service people entering the unit. I did receive a text on the first day (Wednesday) saying that a spa maintenance person would need access to the unit. The sign posted said maintenance was on Tuesday and Friday. We came back from a long hike Thursday afternoon and were in the shower and changing and someone came into the unit. We were not expecting anyone on Thursday and to have them come in while we were showering was shocking. A notice an hour or so before would be helpful especially on a day other than what was posted would prevent some potentially really awkward situations.Otherwise great location, the unit itself was very nice. But not our best vacation rental experience.

Mother’s Day getaway

We loved this property! The home and rooms were as advertised, clean and spacious. The hot tub with the biggest selling point of this location and it did not disappoint! The shared pool was also great and the kids had so much fun. The only drawback was that our key fob to the pool and exercise space was not working so we had to have someone let us in to the pool each day and we were not able to use the gym because of that. Otherwise it was a great stay and would recommend and would stay again!

Clean and Comfortable

Overall, the property was clean and comfortable. Plenty of space in rooms. Amenities fine, the hot tub was a hit. And actually there were pool towels and plenty of soap and shampoo, which was a caution in the instructions.

Excellent location for Black Desert Championship

We stayed here for the Black Desert Championship and it was a perfect location. We were able to ride our e bikes to and from the tournament in 15 minutes. The unit was very clean and quiet even with tenants on both sides of us.

Tournament Time

This rental was a great place to stay for our family group with plenty of room. Although, the weather was cooler and we didn’t access the pool area, we did enjoy the hot tub at the condo. The rental was well stocked with linens, towels, etc. It seems that the heat/AC thermostat is upstairs to help with summer cooling but in cooler weather, the main floor stays very cool. They did have plenty of blankets.

Beautiful house and location!

We absolutely loved staying at Ocotillo Springs! The house was gorgeous and was perfect for our family. It had everything we needed for the week and the pool/clubhouse was such a great addition. We loved swimming and being close to the pool. I would 100% recommend this to anyone and everyone! The pricing was also great.

Great Property!

This was a wonderful place and fit our group perfectly. Enough room for each family, fully stocked cabinets and linens, the kids had their own space, and the hot tub was awesome! We weren't able to visit the community offered amenities due to the weather, but the house met all our needs so well that we didn't even miss that!

Great place in Santa Clara

My family and I rented this property for our sons baseball tournament. It was very clean. Great location, very easy check in and check out. Communication with the property manager was extremely easy. I would highly recommend this place and would stay here again.

New Property - Good Location - Major Issues

The toilet paper holders in the half bath and the king room were falling off. The rug in the master bath was dirty when I arrived. I reported that the water filter had a red light but no one replaced it or if they did it is still on. There is a hole in the ceiling of the MBR closet. I did report but never heard from anyone. I would not be interested in renting this unit again. The Roku TV is unacceptable. It is complicated, the volume doesn't work on it (in some instances in order to hear it you need to tune it to 100. Other channels are 25 - 30) In order to see any TV at all (even local channels) you need to have your own subscription to sign in. I am quite a techie, but I struggled every time I wanted to watch something. If they decide to keep it they need to show that on VRBO so guests will expect it...Very difficult to find any sports! The ceiling is covered with recessed lights and no dimmers. The only lights I ever used were table lamps. Not giving out a garage door opener is also not acceptable. I have never rented anywhere (and I have done so many times) that I had to go inside to get in to the garage and not have an opener available. Aren't the renters vetted at all! I was told it was a security issue. I was missing necessary items when I arrived. When I called Red Sands it would depend on who answered the phone or text. There were very helpful people (everyone that delivered whatever I needed were extremely nice) and some very unhelpful and telling me that they did not know if they could help me. When I asked for more towels and told them that there were towels and washcloths here but in a box, they suggested that those would be the ones I would be getting so i should just unbox and wash them;-( There was a wine opener but no glasses. I called for just a set of small glasses as all I had were large tall glasses and clunky plastic glasses. That was when i was told they would have to check with the owner. I guess they must have approved it as I did get some. The next time I rent anything for a length of time and am dealing with a managing company I will make sure that the basics are included for the amount of time I am there. I requested additional soap (because I had new guests coming in) and was told you were only given that on arrival and that I should buy some. What is the difference if you have a different person in there twice a week? Do you give them each soap? Aargh!

Beautiful property!

Great place, very clean! Our teens loved the private hot tub. I was worried the bunks would be uncomfortable and a little tight but they said they were super comfy. The community pool was beautiful and was only a short walk away.
