Lack of A/C made this stay uncomfortable. Twin bedroom does not have a window only a door with out a screen. Double bedroom does not have a ceiling fan. Location is great easy walk to Shoreline Park. Backyard is very beautiful and relaxing.

Relaxing house in SB

Quiet oasis in Santa Barbara

This is our second stay at the property. The gardens in the back are perfect for our family to have quiet down time and a brief morning walk from the house to the beach was ideal. We will definitely stay again next visit.

Great for families with kids.

Great location, close to everything. We have two kids (3 and 7) and there was plenty to do at the house and in the vicinity. Great parks and playgrounds across the street. Safe neighborhood with families out and about playing. Well stocked house and kitchen. We cooked a lot of meals there and everything worked well. The only draw back was we all experienced some serious sinus congestion. We are sensitive to mold and we noticed some dark spots in the bedroom that could've been mold damage.

Excellent Location, Responsive Management

We stayed for a short girls weekend in SB. The location is excellent, a block away from the water, about a 30 minute walk to the funk zone and other shops/food. Quiet neighborhood. Responsive management. House is old though you could tell they have made fixes based off previous reviews. Nice gas fireplace. Would have benefited from knowing there were space heaters the first night. Overall, for the price was a fair stay.

Perfect location, great neighborhood, nice house

We really enjoyed the space. Loved the gas fireplace, big kitchen and private back yard area. The bedroom with the double bed was a bit dark, not much lighting, but comfy bed and plenty of space. Perfect spot half a block from the ocean, walk to coffee shops and pier. We would definitely stay there again.

Location? Great. Maintenance? Needs improvement

I’m going to start really making sure a house is well maintained before renting. This one has silly things - costing less than $100 to fix in many cases- that aren’t fixed. The water damage on the kitchen window shades? <$100. Toilet running? <100 for those kits at Home Depot. On and on. Toaster doesn’t work. Seriously? In a multi-million house? Shelf pulling away from wall in bathroom so we were scared to use it. Just a number of things to detract from a super cute house in a great location. I’ll scrutinize better next time.

Lovely house, great equipment in the kitchen. The location was terrific, we could walk along the beach. The instructions to unlock the front door were not accurate--just enter the code and the door will open!

Great place to stay when visiting Santa Barbara

This was an amazing place to stay and relax. The house has everything you need to spend time with family and/or friends. It is very well located, in a quiet neighborhood, just a few minutes walk from the beach, and not far from major tourist points in Santa Barbara. We would definitely recommend and come back again.

A few easy fixes would make this a 5-star property

The neighborhood is great - just a block from the beachside park - and the home is clean. The price, for the area, was a great deal. There are a few annoyances that keep me from rating this as 5 stars, though. 1. The toilets have a small sign that asks guests to please be sure the handle returns to a certain position. I guess this is to make sure that the water doesn't keep running, especially in an area where water is already an issue. Please just replace the toilets instead. If that's too much of an expense then the company shouldn't be in the vacation rental business. 2. A little instruction on how to use the gas stovetop would be nice. It isn't obvious and I used the fireplace lighter several times before finally figuring out that if you turn the knob all the way on, the electric lighter would activate. 3. While the outdoor area is generally nice and quite spacious, the random stones are mostly just a tripping hazard, so my 80-year-old mother wasn't able to enjoy that aspect of the house at all. 4. Hopefully they will fix the issues I did report to them in the master bathroom. None of these are dealbreakers for me, and I would stay here again.
