Villa Sanibel 1H, Condo Loft avec 2 chambres et très près de la plage

  • Villa Sanibel, un petit complexe de 20 unités, est idéalement situé sur West Gulf Drive avec un accès facile à la piste cyclable, et une courte promenade ou plus courte au magasin Bailey's qui comprend l'épicerie, fournitures, crème glacée, location de vélos, un cinéma et les restaurants populaires, y compris le favori local "Doc Ford". L'unité 1H est dans le premier bâtiment, le plus proche de la plage, à quelques pas des marches au sable! Cette unité de deuxième niveau (désolé, pas d'ascenseur) comprend une mezzanine avec des lits jumeaux pouvant servir de 3ème chambre. L'atterrissage de la porte d'entrée est un endroit merveilleux pour le café du matin pour voir le lever du soleil sur le golfe. L'unité 1H est bien mise à jour avec une salle de bains récemment rénovée, 3 télévisions à écran plat, des lecteurs Blu-ray et une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite. Vous apprécierez le décor coloré floridien, la cuisine entièrement équipée et de nombreux équipements de plage, notamment des chaises, des parapluies, des serviettes et des jouets. La Villa Sanibel propose une piscine, des courts de tennis, des barbecues au gaz (dont un à côté de cette unité) et une place de parking réservée à proximité. C'est l'endroit idéal pour se détendre et profiter de tout ce que Sanibel offre à portée de main! Villa Sanibel est un établissement non-fumeur.

Only suggestion would be to get rid of some of the pots and pans that one would rarely use and reserve that space for dry goods/groceries. There are no cabinets available for food storage.

We could see there were improvements in the bedding.My main concern is there is inadequate lighting in the living room and the one light that use to help was moved to the bedroom, has a short in it and it is stated we are not supposed to move anything. I also think the carpeting needs to be replaced. I know they cleaned it but it still has a smell to it that does not smell clean. I also hope they provided my pot holders. One is not adequate to cooking.

The only bad thing to say about are stay was the water. This was are 3rd stay on the island and it seems every time the water conditions have gotten worse. They are releasing water from lake okeechobee into the bay making the water look terrible. I hope they are able to fix the conditions soon.

Being on the second floor gives a wonderful view of the gulf and beach from the porch, front door and guest bedroom. And it is just a few steps from the beach. Another plus is the loft where 2 people can stay. We appreciate the fact that there are only 20 units, and 2 next to each other so it is private. This unit has had somethings new or redone each time we have been there in the last 7 years so it always looks nice.

I don't believe I've ever been in a condo on Sanibel that had such a fully stocked kitchen as far as utensils, pot & pans and dishes. We had a little glitch with the oven but it was resolved and we were compensated. We rebooked for next year! There were a couple of things we noticed and we reported to property management and the cleaning lady. The only change we would make is the front door - the blind on the door was a little bothersome as I know there are doors that have blinds inside the windows, but its probably hard to find a good door that can withstand the salt air! Please thank the owner for allowing us to stay in their property.

Perfect Sanibel Condo

If you’re debating about renting this condo, just do it. The front door basically opens up to beach and the pool was clean, well-maintained, and not nearly as busy as we anticipated. The two bedrooms were dark and comfortable and we all slept great. The only downsides to this trip were the no-see-ums at the beach and the stairs to the loft were pretty steep (but would be a perfect extra bedroom space for teens or older kids).

Great complex, great rental company unit might need to be updated

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Villa Sanabel 1H because of its proximity to the beach and great view. A few suggestions to add to the property there are six beds we brought six people there were three beach chairs one was broken all the beach equipment it’s also broken boogie boards and the beach umbrella we are grateful that they provided beach equipment just not adequate amount considering the property sleeps six. The water was shut off most of the week on and off due to maintenance which caused some issues with being able to make meals and shower. There was a full-time resident that lives by the pool that did not make you feel welcome. Also while we were there the garbage disposal had a crack in it so water was everywhere but they did come fix it the next day. We have stayed in the Sanibel units for other times and have not had this problem in the past. We love the location in the quietness of the complex.

The view from the front porch was beautiful, the proximity to the beach made it easy for our family of 6 to make trips back and forth to the condo as needed and the pool was also super close. We enjoyed the screened patio for evening meals & relaxing. The outdoor closet was stocked with chairs. We were expecting beach toys but there were none, so we just grabbed some from a nearby shop. We had an amazing vacation and already booked for next year :-).

Relaxing week

The condo was in a perfect location. It was out of the way of the hustle and bustle but close enough to bike wherever we needed. Great location on the beach too! It was a perfect amount of room for our family and had everything we needed. The condo was clean but the beach towels were in the washing machine still dirty and one of the beach chairs had old cigarette butts left in the pocket. Not sure that would have been something the cleaning crew would have discovered.

The loft was a nice feature and gave my daughter plenty of space ( it would be nice if there was blind on the loft window. Very bright in the am). You are truly steps away from the beach a s a bonus it that everyone we met while there, owners and guests, couldn’t have been nicer. We have already booked again for next year.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very nice time. This is the second time we have rented that specific unit. Our internet was down for a couple days but that is not fault of anyone. It seems ridiculous that the unit doesn't offer high-def cable service. In this day and age, and with the money we spend on rental costs, you would think high-def TV would be available. I can't imagine it would cost the unit owner much to upgrade the cable service. Also, the bath spigot in the hall bath needs replacing.
