Summary:
Breakers West B3 is a gorgeous two bedroom residence at the highly sought after Breakers West community. Fully renovated just last year, this residence is sure to impress through it's immaculately kept condition and fantastic location and amenities. Breakers West is a three story building with only 18 privately owned condos nestled among palm trees and hibiscus on beautifully manicured grounds. It is located beach side behind Waterside Inn only 100 yards from the white sands of the Gulf of Mexico. Its limited number of units and location on West Gulf Drive contributes to an uncrowded and relaxing vacation. The complex offers a heated swimming pool, BBQ grills and is conveniently located to the bike paths of Sanibel. Guests may also use the outdoor shower and bike rack.

The Space:
This second floor unit is just feet from white sandy beaches and has been completely renovated with over 1200 square feet of spacious living area. The non-smoking condo offers two bedrooms and two full baths, a fully equipped kitchen, and an in-condo laundry room with full size washer and dryer. Beach chairs, beach towels, and umbrella are all provided for guest use. The gorgeous remodeled kitchen has quartz counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and is outfitted with everything guests will need for a fantastic stay, even if they are cooking in! The master bedroom suite has a king size bed, a flat screen TV, and a private bathroom which has a spacious walk-in shower. The guest bedroom has 2 twin beds, a flat screen TV and private bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower. The living room has a sleeper sofa and flat screen TV inside an entertainment console. The unit features a fantastic oversized patio that overlooks the lush, green, grounds and community pool. Set far back from West Gulf drive and just far enough from the beach, guests will enjoy an unparalleled level of tranquility and relaxation at Breakers West B3.

Guest Access:
Guests may access the heated community pool, BBQ grills, and private Breakers West beach access. They also enjoy access to the outdoor shower and bike rack on site. The elevator may or may not be repaired by opening date on March 1st.

The Neighborhood:
Breakers West is located in the West Gulf neighborhood of Sanibel, one of the finest and most sought after on all of Sanibel Island. As one of the very few rental properties on the upper portion of West Gulf Drive, this location is considered especially desirable as the pristine beaches are much less crowded than a more centrally located residence on Middle or East Gulf drive, where many large condominium complexes are located. In this neighborhood there are many luxurious homes and villas, but few rental properties and condos, making for an especially exclusive beach experience.

We recommend car or bikes for getting around Sanibel.

Couldn’t have asked for a better location and quicker response when we needed anything. Our beach umbrella broke in the high winds and we had a new one the next morning. I would recommend they replace the carpet with tile because carpet at the beach is never a good idea. Overall a good stay.

Overall, the property as a whole was nice. Our specific condo was not as clean as I would expect, especially for how much we paid. There was a significant amount of mold in one of the bathrooms and the carpet was extremely dirty and stiff. The carpet to tile transition in one of the bathrooms was damaged causing exposed nails which was a huge safety issue with two little ones. Some of the dining chairs were broken, causing sharp wooden pieces, which was also a safety concern with two little ones. There was no vacuum to use during the two weeks stay that would’ve been beneficial.The kitchen was nicely stocked with a lot of the items we would need throughout the stay and the condo was close to the beach which was extremely convenient.

Walk to the beach in minutes and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Had a great time shelling and exploring the island. Condo is in a great, secure, quiet location and met all our needs. Host was super responsive and helpful! We had a great time.

Tranquil Getaway

Not our first stay in Sanibel, but our first stay with this accommodation. Quiet condo that is a short walk to the beach, gulf and all the activities you like to do by the water. The condo itself is light, spacious with two beds and two baths, living room, updated kitchen and laundry room in the unit. There is an elevator available if you don’t want to schlep your gear up the stairs. Check-in/out was seamless. Communication with the hosts was wonderful. Responses were quick and thoughtful. If we come back to Sanibel, we would love to stay here again. Thank you so much for this great home away from home for the week!

Great location but amenities were ok

This location is amazing! The ocean was a short walk away and an umbrella and 4 chairs were provided. Our family really enjoyed the time at the beach. However, the kitchen amenities were not as stated in the listing as "a fully equipped kitchen." It was missing basics, like salt and pepper. Only one dishwasher pod was provided, and so there were dirty dishes upon our arrival that we needed to clean prior to eating from them. There was only one dish towel, and no drying rack, so the dish towel became our drying rack and we had nothing to dry our hands with.One of the bathrooms was missing the TP holder (and I understand sometimes things get lost) but the other bathroom door got stuck so that our child needed help to get released from that room until we decided to just not shut that bathroom door. Although there were other little things (like the wi fi password isn't listed in the unit - in our past VRBO experiences there have been guest books listing such info so we have it straightaway) the main frustration was the kitchen, which wasn't equipped as expected per the listing or as we have experienced in past VRBO/Air b&b stays. Despite the critique, both the kitchen and main bathroom were newly and beautifully remodeled. And, in addition to the proximity to the beach, we enjoyed sitting out on the porch and going up to the rooftop deck. We also liked how easy it was to drive to Pinocchios Ice Cream and Jerry's grocery.

The location was terrific, however there were a couple inconveniences that impacted our experience. The televisions in all the rooms were not set up/working. When I contacted the management company they said they would send someone out. It took 40 minutes for them to get there. We had friends staying in a neighboring facility and were having them over to celebrate a birthday, and having to work with the person trying to fix our television situation was impeedong on my ability to be present with our friends. The person working on our TVs was there for over an hour!Additionally, there was a car parked in our parking spot the entire week we were there. We werent able to park in our spot once over the entire week. The cost of the unit was significant! The chairs and umbrella that were listed, that came with the unit were in bad shape, and the umbrella was actually unusable, it was trash.

Nice place for a nice price

The property is quite nice. It is a little dated, and could use a deep clean, but overall it was more than satisfactory for a very reasonable price. My sisters and I used to vacation in Sanibel when we were younger, and we decided to return to celebrate a "bachelorette" for one of them. We are not partiers, so we were interested in the beach and shopping available on the island. The proximity to the beach is fabulous, and the property is on the south side of the island so you get BOTH sunsets and sunrises. Even in early February we were able to spot dolphins from the beach. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms were great for our group of 4 women. Some of the walls were dirty, and the floor wasn't exactly immaculate. The sheets and towels were clean, and the kitchen looks like it is fairly new (and was very clean). Overall we enjoyed our stay, and for the price it was a very reasonable deal.

Nice large condo. Nice kitchen and great to have a washer and dryer. Walk to the Beach is close and has a nice pathway. We would rent here again. We enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Shell paradise

First, let's talk Sanibel Island. I found shells like I have always dreamed of finding!!! The sunsets were the most colorful I've ever seen. And the people, we didn't meet anyone who didn't greet us with a smile and kind world. It's a wonderful community we were honored to be a part of. It was the perfect location and the short shell path lead us to an almost private beach each day. The rooms were nicely decorated with beautiful views. We spent many evenings on the screened porch and even enjoyed the roof terrace. The management group was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. Fantastic location!

The condo is exactly as advertised. The decor is so cute! Made me smile when we walked in the door. We had our own beach chairs but the owners provided several nice chairs and quite a few beach towels. Quiet area, steps from the beach. Wish I knew how to upload the pics we took. Gorgeous view

Considering all the surrounding damage done by the hurricane, the property was in remarkable condition. The only negative for us was the condition of the mattress which was uncomfortable. The property was centrally located to many of things we wanted to do and the beach was great. Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

Sanabel is a great place but hurricane Ian destroyed many properties this one was lucky.

The apartment was cute but hardly finished. 2nd bedroom had all kind of pictures and things that made it look rushed to the market. The fees added on we exorbitant and made the actual price 2X the internet show price we will be inquiring as to gouging No beach chairs just 3 stadium chairs We were not made aware of the total reconstruction of the island and should have been. Other than that Sanibel was beautiful

Steps Away From the Gulf!

Perfect spot for a beach getaway. Unit was well appointed with a gorgeous updated kitchen. Small complex was perfect for us as we try to avoid large crowded places. Sanibel offers fantastic food, shopping and fresh food markets. Cooking in? Be sure to stop in at Island Seafood.

Quick and Lovely

Booked this condo very last minute. Unit was clean and provided the essentials. 2 minute walk to the beach and still a quick drive to town for a night out for dinner or ice cream. Would rent again!!!
