Maine Cabin sur Belle, lac tranquille .... Près de l'océan

  • Pine Needle Cabin est disponible à la location sur le pittoresque lac Baugeg Beg à Sanford, Maine. Un peu plus d'une heure au nord de Boston; 40 minutes au sud de Portland, ME; et à environ 20 minutes de la Marginal Way Ogunquit, les quais de homard ou de la plage à Kennebunkport, ou les Montagnes Blanches du New Hampshire. Il y a un parcours de golf 18 trous à 5 minutes des cabines, avec un terrain de golf Par-3 et de la miniature encore 5 minutes sur la route. Il y a des sentiers de randonnée magnifiques, des visites à vélo et kayak terrible - lac ou un océan. jour illimité voyages à d'autres parties du Maine ou le New Hampshire. Bauneg Beg lac est très propre et calme, avec piscine, pêche et le canotage. Chalet est situé sur la rive est, obtenir le plein soleil de jour pour une grande piscine, et magnifiques couchers de soleil!
    Pine Needle Cabin est un rustique cabine 1 étages sur un site en pente donnant directement sur le lac. La cabane a été construite autour d'un tour de la maison de pêche sur glace siècle d'un lac dans le NH - maintenant le salon --with lambris de bois sombre et cheminée w / poêle à bois intégré. Il y a un hall d'entrée, cuisine / salle à manger, salle de bains avec douche, et une grande véranda - avec une salle à manger, chaise longue et chaises berçantes, pour profiter du lac à tout moment de la journée. Il y a 3 chambres (2 avec lits doubles et 1 avec un lit simple). L'extérieur de la cabine a été récemment rénové - nouveau toit métallique, cheminée en pierre et cèdre shakes. Il y a un quai pour la baignade, la pêche au soleil et au bord du lac. Il y a une chaloupe, canot et kayaks pour votre usage. Il y a aussi une rampe de bateau sur le lac si vous souhaitez amener un bateau à moteur ou voilier. This is our third year coming back to this lovely camp. I’m happy to bring this Maine lake experience to my daughter and granddaughter. We had an amazing time- swimming, down by the firepit, we brought a hammock and enjoyed relaxing by the water, picking blueberries and then some time by the coast. Perfect. Not fancy but homey and all you need.

This was our 6th time staying at Pine Needle cabin and it is still as wonderful as ever. We love the peacefulness of the lake and the charm of the cabin. Everything we need to relax and enjoy the rejuvenating beauty of Maine is there. We love that it is quiet and calm at the cabin, but a short drive to many lovely towns and places to hike. Kayaking on the lake we saw loons and blooming water lilies. The screened in porch is a lovely place for a lobster feast or reading or watching the amazing sunsets. We appreciate that the owners have thoughtfully made improvements over the years, while still maintaining the authentic, "old Maine" feeling of the place. It is truly a magical space.

My stay was very quiet and peaceful. The cabin is very rustic. Easy to find and get to. The pictures are accurate. I just fell in love with the screened in porch. The lake had very little boating, which kept it pretty quiet. I do wish I knew before booking that I needed to bring my own bedding (sheets, pillow cases). I was notified a week before my stay. Not having full size sheets i had to buy them. I would have given 5 stars but I just feel bedding should be included.

This is our fourth year staying at this little cabin. It's cozy and quiet, the screened in porch is great, and you can't beat being right on the lake!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay. The swimming is everything I wanted. I brought my daughter and granddaughter (21mo). I want them to have the experience of being in a Maine camp on the lake. We swam, walked, went to our favorite places for seafood, watched the sunset and looms from the porch and slept so good. Thanks!

Authentic Old Maine Charm on a Beautiful Lake

Pine Needle cabin is full of rustic charm and hearkens back to simpler times. The lake is lovely for swimming, kayaking, and loon watching. Although the cabin is perfect for peace and quiet, it’s also near many activities and attractions in the coastal towns of Kittery, York, Ogunquit, Wells, Kennebunkport, and Biddeford. We found lots of great hiking trails nearby. We can’t wait to return!

Amazing week at the Cabin

We had an amazing week. The Cabin is the perfect size for 3-5 people. The screened in porch was so relaxing to sit and enjoy the lake views and summer breeze. We loved all the rustic character of the place. We also enjoyed days in Kittery, York (Nubble Lighthouse), Ongunquit, Wells and Kennebunk as well as Berwick, Sanford and nearby Dover, NH. We hope to visit again soon.

Enjoyed it very much. Genuine New England!

Yes, enjoyed it VERY much. Why? Because it was totally as described. A cabin on a nice big lake, with the sound of loons nights and mornings, with that nice big porch and three bedrooms. Children & teens would love it. Couldn't ask for more. We have a history of vacations on lakes in VT, NH and ME so we're biased. Too bad it's so far from NC. We'd be back often and have already recommended it to friends in New England.

Quaint cabin in nice location

Nice spot on the lake, close to the shore as well. Camp is located well in from the roads so no concerns with traffic while staying there with our dog. Great screened porch. Although we didn’t get an opportunity to use them as the weather was cool it was nice to have kayaks and PFDs available if you were so inclined. Easy drive to explore the coast from the cabin. Lovely walks/small hikes nearby. Also close to shopping and Shain’s which was great!

Our experience at “On Golden Pond,” in Pine Needle Camp, Bauneg Beg Lake in South Sanford, Maine

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The cabin is clean, quaint and rustic, very well furnished and serves well as the base camp for a very enjoyable stay. Whether you’re sitting on and looking out from the screened porch or sitting on the dock or swimming or kayaking, the water view with mountains in the background is as placid and as simple as you would hope for. You unwind instantly. And the location is so central to so many interesting places, museums and restaurants in this area of Maine. The owners/property managers are very informative and responsive to any questions or concerns you may have.

Memories made

Cute little cabin. A bit cluttered with unnecessary furniture and dishes. No place to put our food. Little ants on counter and in cupboard. Bit of a hill to the fire pit. Caution if you aren't steady on your feet. View was incredible, swimming was amazing. Neighbors were nice. Overall we had a great vacation with lots of laughs and made great memories.

Slice of heaven

This was absolutely amazing. Everyone was wonderful around us. The lake is beautiful with a great breeze. The cabin is enchanting and we truly wanted to stay forever. It’s rustic charm enraptured us from the start and there was no shortage of fun. Our kids least favorite day was the one we ventured away from the cabin to go to York. They much preferred to be at the cabin, fishing, boating, fires, s’mores, games. We can’t wait to go back and Jan is so responsive. Everything was impeccable. If you’re a luxury hotel with room service type of person it may not be for you but for us it was heaven.

Great location - however, rustic does not mean dirty. Kitchen was greasy on most surfaces. Cooling fans (which were needed) were encrusted with dust and dirt - we had to clean. Many dished had dried food on them. Sofa was sticky - we had to buy a flat sheet to cover. Most things in cabin were extremely dusty. Floors not out in the open were filthy. We had to leave the cabin cleaner than we found it. Would not recommend.

Great Memories!!

This is the cutest cabin right on lake front. Plenty of room inside and a gorgeous front porch viewing over the pond. There was a nice dock with stairs to swim from. There were also kayaks and a row boat for your use. The fire pit down by the lake was perfect for nightly fires along the water front. I was also able to bring my girl, my dog. It was so relaxing here. People around this area were great taking us out on thier boats around the pond. Nice parties next door. Can’t wait to come back!! Don’t want to be leaving today. No complaints here!!!!! Everything was exactly what we wanted!!! Bye till next year Bauneg Beg!!!

Everything was good but Jan emailed me to tell me I was not getting my 50.00 deposit back because we left a bag in kitchen it clearly states don’t throw away bag if not full, we took it 3/4 of a mile Friday morning as instructed, left a bad impression
