"We loved Hearton Hotel Kyoto! On the first floor there are amenities you can bring to your room, we personally loved the bath salts and onion soup broth but there were plenty more items to choose from depending on your needs. Our room felt spacious compared to some other accomodations in Japan, though it is still a bit of a tight fit if you have lots of luggage (we didn't have much so we felt okay). The kettle and the mini fridge were great to have, and they worked very well. The room (including bathroom) was very clean and well maintained, and we found the bed comfortable. We had no issues sleeping at night, as it was very quiet. We were pleasantly surprised at how close one of the metro stations are to the hotel, though note this metro station is closed after a certain hour in the evening so you may need to walk a bit more if coming in late. That being said, we really loved our stay at the hotel and found it to be a perfect base to rest after our long days doing activities around Kyoto. We would definitely stay again!"
