Cabanes à San Juan National Forest

« It rained most of the time we stayed at the lake, lucky for us the cabin was cute, comfortable and cozy! We never found the shared fire pit, but again the rain kept us indoors in the evenings.Our small dog was welcome, and so we felt right at home. Host left a water bowl, treats, dog towel, and extra waste bags. A really nice touch! A “Shanty Chic” pairing at the shoreline as the canoe has rowing oars instead of paddles. Overall 10/10 would stay again. Thanks! »

« We had a wonderful time in the Red Ryder cabin. The wood stove really warmed the place up. The giant open room is perfect for hanging out together. As promised, my youngest loved making the loft her space. My husband ran around the forest in back and we all lived having just a 20 minute drive to Wolf Creek. »

« All the high tech gizmos you could want! Maybe too many cameras? Felt like you were being watched the whole time . Not the best location for pets as you are right next to a busy road with no fences ,but we made it work. Really cool listening to the ice on the lake reverberate up and down the whole lake at night! »

« The cabin was perfect for our group of four. It would be very comfortable for 6 guests as well. I would highly recommend this property for anyone wanting to stay near the ski area or Pagosa Springs. Checking in and out was super easy. The property managers were very helpful with the process and reached out to be sure everything was set up for our stay. The cabin was clean, well-stocked, and everything worked perfectly. We will stay here again when we return to Wolf Creek. »

« This was a perfect place very close to purgatory ski resort! The cabin was very clean and equipped with everything we needed and were looking for on a ski/ snowboarding weekend. »

« The property is perfect for a quiet, secluded getaway in the mountains, with terrific views of the lake and surrounding mountains (and a short walk down a hill to the shire). It’s in an absolutely gorgeous setting with lots of wildlife and things to do. We parked our car when we arrived and didn’t get back into it for days: fishing, hiking, mountain biking, birding, paddle boating from the cabin. The deck has gorgeous views for your meals or just relaxing. Bring a hummingbird feeder if you enjoy...

« We really enjoyed this property. The home was spacious allowing plenty of room for all ten of us. The game room was a great gathering space. Dining area was large enough for all of us to eat and play games together. Easy drive in to both Bayfield and Durango. And very close to Vallecito Lake. Would definitely recommend this property. »

« House was very nice and well stocked. Located close to everything. Scenery and lake was amazing! Plenty of wildlife too. Very quite and restful. Sunsets were spectacular on the back porch. I also highly recommend heading to Durango for train ride to Silverton and may need a second day for shopping down town Durango. »
