« If you like waking up all night because the guests upstairs decided to walk around the squeaky floors and noisy water pipes then, stay at deer harbor inn. Horrible stay, was up 3/4 of the night. Called the in keeper he didn't do anything about the noisy guests at the hotel. »

« The staff is not consistent. The restaurant greeter is not customer first. The large round table in the lobby means there’s literally nowhere to sit or congregate. Third floor has free coffee and sodas in the morning in the central area while there’s nothing on the main floor common area - for a very expensive room. Views are superb. »

« Absolutely loved our stay. What a beautiful location and cabins. The rooms were clean, the kitchen was full with equipment if you wanted to cook. We got the “queen” beds, just a caution - felt a bit smaller than queen. But was ok with us »

« Our stay was great. Very peaceful. A little more communication about check-in and check-out would have been helpful as there are few staff on site. The breakfast was yummy, which is only available in July and August. The room was clean but smelled a little stale, a little like cigarette smoke when fan wasn’t running. There is no air conditioning. »

« Wow, I cannot say enough about my wife's and my stay, and it's rare for me to write a review (good or bad) for any property. The host is clearly a student of human behavior and accommodated our needs in unexpected, and most pleasing ways. Breakfast was delightfully tasty and home-cooked by the host, and his recommendations for local restaurants were impeccable. Of course the destination (Friday Harbor) is a no-brainer, but our accommodations were the icing on the cake. My wife and I will...

« Clean and comfortable. Beautiful bay. Very quiet. Good internet once you signed into the network. Check-in would have been just fine (the communication was good to ensure contact with the virtual front desk, in a spotty internet area) but I don’t believe our keypad was programmed correctly. Fortunately, a maintenance guy just happened to be in the building and was able to correct the problem. »
