The Space:
Casa Iris is a spectacular and vibrant four-level home that features 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, and a spacious terrace with tropical views. Remodeled from top to bottom you will appreciate the clean, colorful and modern feel Casa Iris offers. You’ll love the fully equipped kitchen with counter space overlooking the dining area, living room, and the large terrace with views of the professionally landscaped grounds. The Villa sleeps up to 8 guests in 1 king bed and 3 queen beds. Casa Iris includes AC, TV, cable, internet, washer/dryer, beach chairs, and cooler.
IMPORTANT: The elevator at this property does not work. We do not promote it in the listing. You are renting the unit knowing the elevator is not available.
LIVING AREAS
The Villa has an open concept layout that connects the kitchen to the dining area, living room, family room, and terrace. All the living areas are on the first floor of the Villa with abundant windows so you always have views of palm trees, the manicured grounds, and the sky views for days. There is a flat-screen TV in the family room and A/C throughout the entire floor. There is also seating on the lovely terrace. There is a half bathroom on this level.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
Casa Iris features four (4) bedrooms located on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
SECOND FLOOR: Two (2) bedrooms, each furnished with one (1) queen bed
THIRD FLOOR: Two (2) bedrooms — one with a queen bed and one with a king bed
All the bedrooms have AC, personal nightstands, and a closet, as well as access to their own private bathroom. All bathrooms include complimentary amenities and plush resort-style towels.
PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY):
We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.
KITCHEN
Casa Iris has a clean, fully stocked, and comfortable kitchen. The kitchen has a counter space that is ideal for serving meals buffet style. The 6-person dining table is conveniently located adjacent to the kitchen so cooking and dining can become one large social event. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, microwave oven, stovetop, coffee maker, and toaster.
GETTING AROUND & PARKING
The property includes space for up to four (4) vehicles.
Renting a car is a must when staying in Dorado. You will need one to move around to nearby restaurants, shops, and beaches as well as to explore the rest of the island.
LOCATION
Casa Iris is located at Villas Del Golf within Dorado del Mar, a beautiful community in Dorado, Puerto Rico that is well known for its gorgeous tropical grounds and beach access. Dorado del Mar is home to the Embassy Suites by Hilton. This is a safe and gated community that is great for families and anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing vacation. Casa Iris is a 45-minute drive from San Juan and the Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport.
Besides enjoying the beautiful villa and all amenities on offer, there are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites:
Explore the local culinary scene with everything from local Puerto Rican food to excellent Italian and Asian options.
Dorado del Mar has its own casino - The Blue Dolphin Casino! Casa Iris is ideal for those who want to enjoy the casino nightlife and then retreat to a comfortable space less than a 5 minute drive from the action.
Road trip to the Cerro Gordo or Dorado public beaches. Both of these are long sandy beaches that are well protected from swell and are a 5-minute drive from the villa.
Explore the Camuy Caves – a huge cave system about an hour's drive away that is home to the third-longest underwater river in the world.
Spend a day in Old San Juan, a 35-minute drive away and the oldest city in all of the US.

STARTER AMENITIES
At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay.
All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest.
We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:
- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)
- 3 garbage bags
- 1 roll of paper towels
- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)
- 1 dish soap
- 1 dish sponge
- A small amount of laundry detergent
Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.
Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.
HOUSE RULES
RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.
NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.
NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.
QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.
UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 8 adults/children at all times, including visitors.
OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.
TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.
TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.
POOL PASS: Any pool pass lost will carry a $100 charge (per pass).
SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.
If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.
If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.
Check-out time is at 11:00 AM. For late check-out requests, please reach out the day before your departure, and we’ll be happy to check availability for you.
TRAVEL INSURANCE / HURRICANE SEASON
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, not only during the peak months of Hurricane Season (July to October) but also throughout the year to cover unexpected events such as travel delays, pandemics, or other unforeseen issues.
Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.

Starting 5 days before arrival, your designated Property Manager will also be available to answer any additional questions you may have prior to arrival. Gorgeous Home with an Abundance of Art + Nature
An absolutely beautiful home and community, local walking trail to witness nature up close, pool within walking distance, and the art inside the home was breathtaking. It can get a bit warm, especially if the power goes out. Still, worth the visit and excellent for several guests and youth.

Beautiful home
The home is great , but there are a few things we were disappointed with in the house . The dryer barely works, you have to run it aboit 3 .. 4 if its towels. The bedrooms that had a bathtub both had issues with the pressure ans stopping the water from draining . There waa no broom, no mop or cleaning supplies. I actually bought a broom for you guys to leave there. The kitchen supplies were great , the bedrooms slept well. This house has several beautiful porches on the roodtop with nothing to sit on. I just feel the rate was to high for the lack of personal touch.
