The space
Ground floor apartment in a renovated Victorian villa in the San Jose historic district - the oldest house in the historic district itself. The apartment was entirely remodeled in 2015. It retains the Victorian features, with high walls and the original bay windows. Brand new maple flooring in the main area. Modern amenities: air conditioning, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, super fast Wi-Fi, large flat-screen TV.
A spacious common area comprises a kitchen, a dining area, and a living room with a sofa beed. The living room also acts as a music studio and has two pianos, and lots of gym mats and bolsters. The private area comprises a bedroom with a Cal King sized bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet (through a sliding door), a bedroom with a double bed that is Cal King length and Queen width, a bedroom with a twin bed, and a family bathroom with a whirlpool bath. The sofa bed bed in the living room sleeps two.

Our housekeeper occasionally enters the apartment when she prepares the Airbnb rooms on the upper floor, as she uses the washer and the dryer in our unit to wash the linens. We would give you notice of her arrival.

You might see that some of our reviews mention a cat. She lived with us until very recently but left us after a short illness. There are currently no pets on the premises.

Other things to note
Quiet hours after 10pm. Please be respectful of our neighbours and other guests - no noise or music after 10pm.

Strictly no partying in the unit!
