Please beware, do not get a standard room in this hotel! I had a standard room on the 3rd floor. It had tiny widows high up on the wall. You cannot see anything through them because they are so high, and you cannot open them. Tiny curtains cover them so no proper daylight can come into the room. And you cannot move the curtains either, they are like flags covering the tiny windows. It really felt like a bunker! If I had known this, I would have never booked this room. To make matters worse, the bed was sinking in the middle (I have herniated disks) so I lined up the pillows on the floor and that's where I slept. The AC was really noisy but you need it on because you cannot open the windows. There was loud construction noises nearby in the morning, then no more water, then no electricity. The TV wasn't great either, some channels where too blurry to watch. The worst really was the bed and also that it felt like a bunker. I couldn’t upgrade because the hotel was apparently full. I emailed the owner (he gives his personal email address on a sheet of paper in the room, in case there is a problem) but I never got any answer back.
The only positive note about my stay there is that Brian, who helped me carry my luggage was really nice.
I definitely will not return and do not recommend this hotel.
