Upon arrival, the bed was not properly made and there was a blanket instead of a comforter. I had to go out and buy cleaning products to re-clean the unit. There are things the host could do to make this unit cleaner such as cleaning dirt in front of door and not having cob webs all over. Let's begin with the smell, it smelled like old food and nasty air freshener. Toilet paper was basically gone so I also had to restock that. Parking was very dangerous, host asked for guest to park across the street from the house on a busy road. There were two spaces that remained empty in the driveway and numerous spaces directly in front of the property. I had to cross a busy road of traffic with no cross walk. Host does not speak good English making the limited communication we had very difficult. Host also ignored numerous messages which is unprofessional and very rude. The AC did not work and the host claimed to be in control of the AC. The unit was extremely hot, temperatures were in the 90's. This was a major issue for me. Luckily for me I was able to stay busy throughout the day to avoid being in the unit except for at night. I would dread coming to the unit and would find other things to do. If your stay is 1-2 days maybe you will be okay. I unfortunately booked for 10 days. Way too long. I hope the host makes changes to her cleaning and begins to care about the guest. To the host: please be more considerate of the guests who are spending money with you as we have LOTS of options.
