The space
Our space is best suited for quiet folks wanting a restful sleep and a safe base from which to explore all that this beautiful city has to offer! We built an eco-friendly, urban farmstead on the first floor of our home. It is solar-powered and accessible via a separate, private gate. It consists of 2 newly renovated bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one is en suite) and backyard.

LIVING ROOM/BEDROOM: Sofa/Twin-bed when tucked away. Pulls out to King-bed when needed. Contains small foldable desk, coffee table, memory foam mattress, crisp linens, down comforter, warm wool rug, beautiful decor, closet. The 42" Samsung flat screen is equipped with Apple TV and Chromecast. Closet holds space heater, extra pillows and blankets, and patio furniture seat cushions.

MASTER BEDROOM: The bedroom include queen bed with Tuft & Needle memory foam mattress, crisp linens, down comforter, warm wool rug, beautiful decor, closet, desk and 43” 4K Fire smart TV. Closet holds dual space heater/fan, extra pillows, vacuum and ironing set.

BATHROOMS: One bathroom has deep tub for soaking or showering and the other bathroom has shower. We provide towels, blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner and body wash and other amenities.

OTHER: We provide complimentary coffee, tea, oatmeal and other basics. No standalone dining room. We provide foldable table and stools in breakfast nook area and have separate chair and side table for reading and lounging indoors and plenty of seating outdoors. 860 Mbps upload/download high speed wireless internet. Assorted board games and books provided. Washer/Dryer. Ample, free street parking. No garage parking.

GARDEN: The private patio garden has multiple seating areas making it a perfect spot for morning coffee while listening to the birds chirp and being surrounded by beautiful greenery. You are welcome to fix yourself a fresh salad or tea using the organic herbs grown there. Write/read/meditate in the cozy butterfly garden in the shade of eucalyptus trees and flowers. If you want to use the fire pit, please let me know beforehand and read the detailed safety instructions in the instruction booklet.

PLEASE NOTE:

* There is no street noise or car noise; however, because my roommate and I live directly above you, there can be foot traffic noise at times. The walls are thin because this is an old classic SF rowhouse, built in the 1950's. We are usually quiet in the evening and settle down by 10pm so your sleep will go undisturbed. We provide earplugs and a white noise machine.

We try to do our part and be as quiet as possible and we would like the same in return looking for quiet, respectful guests to stay.

*Space can accommodate up to 4 people but please understand it may feel more cramped as a result.

*This is a shoeless, eco-friendly solar home, so please take off shoes and turn-off lights when not in use. Thank you!

The self-contained garden suite is on the ground floor with separate private entrance. You have exclusive access to the back yard, except when I occasionally need access to garden.
Other things to note
This space used to be inside the garage before I remodeled so some of the reviews are no longer accurate.

Price is fixed—Airbnb is great in that there are plenty of options to fit everyone's budget!

There are 2 security cameras on the exterior of the house: 1 located at side gate 1 located at front door All of them are recording 24/7 for security purposes. There is no camera in private area or inside bedroom, only outside.
