Welcome to your modern oasis, a tranquil retreat amidst the vibrant heartbeat of San Diego. Ethos Vacation Homes takes pride in presenting this upscale abode, crafted to perfection with a serene outdoor patio and the liberal use of bamboo that accentuates the peaceful vibe. All packaged within a location that allows you to access San Diego`s main attractions in no time! The living room is the essence of comfort, equipped with a queen size sleeper sofa, and a 65` HDTV loaded with Netflix, Hulu, & more. Our ultra-high speed internet ensures that you can attend to urgent work matters, while open spaces make this a great fit for families with children. Our two spacious bedrooms have been designed with a keen eye for detail. King size beds, 65-inch HDTVs with streaming options, sound machines, and an array of charging essentials make for a restful stay. For young parents, we also provide a pack and play. The newly renovated bathroom is equipped with all essentials plus a hair dryer, accessible from the living room for convenience. Rediscover your love for cooking in our fully-equipped kitchen, complete with modern appliances such as an oven, stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and blender; together with essentials like dishes and silverware, cooking basics, and a high chair for young diners. Complimentary coffee and tea kept on hand to ensure warm beginnings to your day! A washer and dryer make laundry quick and convenient, and we always provide FREE laundry detergent. And we are lucky to have free street parking - a rarity in this bustling city!

Guests will have exclusive access to the entirety of our property, from the spacious bedrooms to the serene patio with its comfortable lounging area, fire pit table, and BBQ grill. Entry to the property is hassle-free with our smart lock system. Free street parking is available right next to the entrance of our home.

Our beautiful home is hidden in a peaceful suburban neighborhood of Grant Hill, San Diego, only 5-10 minutes drive or Uber ride to the San Diego Zoo, Gaslamp District, Petco Park, Little Italy, Seaport Village, the Convention Center, and Coronado; and about 15-20 minutes to SeaWorld, all San Diego beaches, and La Jolla cliffs. There is also plenty of public transportation to choose from, depending on your destination.

Immerse yourself in the vibe of downtown San Diego with our property situated close to Balboa Park, USS Midway Museum, San Diego Zoo, Chicano Park, and Petco Park. SeaWorld and the La Jolla cliffs are a short 15-20 minute drive away. Looking to celebrate the upcoming summer holidays in style? Our house is the perfect choice for a memorable Memorial Day, a fantastic Fourth of July, or a leisurely Labor Day! Have a BBQ party right in your backyard, or cozy up by the fire pit under the stars - it`s all right at your fingertips. When it comes to dining, downtown San Diego offers an array of options. For seafood lovers, the Ironside Fish & Oyster is a must-visit, while the Puesto at the Headquarters offers delightful Mexican cuisine. For those who favor eastern delicacies, the Cafe 21 Gaslamp is known for its excellent Azerbaijani food. Don`t forget to check out Garage Kitchen + Bar for a round of drinks! For the safety and comfort of all our guests, we maintain a strict no smoking and no pets policy. Please respect our house rules regarding noise and occupancy. Please note that parties or events of any kind are PROHIBITED. Unauthorised parties may result in cancellation of reservation and penalties. Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in is any time after 4:00 PM.
Check-out is by 11:00 AM.
Early check-in or late check-out may be requested through your personal online Ethos Home Portal, available immediately after your reservation is confirmed. We will do our best to accommodate such requests; however, occasionally we may only be able to confirm same-day or 24 hours in advance based on turnover schedules.

We keep check-out tasks to a minimum. We only ask that you wash your dishes and remove your trash from inside the home. These two small steps help us pay our cleaning teams a fair wage while keeping our overall cleaning fees reasonable. If you leave something behind, we are happy to mail lost and found items back to you for a $35 Handling Fee plus the cost of shipping.

Overstaying beyond the designated check-out time may result in additional charges of up to 150% of the effective daily rate of your stay for each day (full or partial) that you overstay, as well as any other related damages, fees, costs or expenses incurred by us, such as our loss of a subsequent guest reservation or booking alternative accommodations for them. We reserve the right to enter the accommodation, remove any belongings, change the locks or lock codes to the space and take further action as may be necessary or appropriate.


Prohibited Conduct and Excessive Cleaning

Illegal substances, drugs, and smoking of any kind are strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises, including but not limited to tobacco, marijuana, cigars, cigarettes, and pipes, as well as hookah, e-cigarettes, and vapes. Illegal drugs or smoking any substances may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation and a Smoke Cleaning Fee of up to $750 to deep clean and deodorize the home. Please note that recreational smoke detection sensors protect all our properties.

Unauthorized guests or occupants. Please observe the maximum occupancy allowed on your reservation at all times. If you would like more than 6 guests, including daytime visitors, to occupy the home at any time during the reservation, please confirm it with us before check-in. Unauthorized occupants will be charged $75 per person per night for the entire reservation period, and if we find it necessary, we may revoke or terminate the reservation if occupancy limits are violated.

Parties, events, and excessive noise are strictly prohibited. Guests must comply with all city and county laws, and all local noise and safety ordinances during their stay. Please keep noise to a minimum between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM and respect the privacy and comfort of our long-term neighbors. Please note that our properties are protected by non-audio-recording noise decibel and crowd monitoring devices to prevent parties.

Laundry hours are between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM.

Pets are not permitted anywhere on the premises, unless explicitly approved in writing before arrival. Evidence of a pet may result in a Pet Cleaning Fee of up to $200 to deep clean, deodorize, and disinfect the home. If you are assisted by a service animal, please contact us before booking. Service animals may not be left unattended at any time anywhere on the premises.

Children under 14 years old may not be left unattended in the home at any time for safety reasons.

Please follow the parking instructions in your Ethos Home Portal and obey all posted traffic signs.

Unsanitary conditions such as excessive trash, spills, or strong odors that may attract pests are not permitted. Guests are responsible for keeping the home tidy during their stay. Major spills or stains on rugs, sofas, beds, or linens may result in an Excessive Cleaning Fee of up to $150. Permanently stained sheets or towels that can’t be restored will be charged at $18 each. Cleaning involving bodily fluids such as urine, blood, or vomit may result in a Biohazard Cleaning Fee of up to $250. Using the BBQ grill and leaving it dirty with food or grease may result in a Grill Cleaning Fee of up to $75.

Modifying or altering the home and its contents is not permitted. Furniture, appliances, wall décor, and fixtures must not be moved or adjusted. Event decorations such as birthday signs, balloons, glitter and confetti removal may result in an Excessive Cleaning Fee of up to $150.

Tampering with security cameras is prohibited. Ethos properties and guests are protected with outdoor-only security cameras at entry doors. Unplugging, covering, disabling, or obstructing cameras may result in liability for damages, equipment replacement, and licensed reinstallation fees.

Firearms, weapons–real or replica, hazardous items, and open flames are prohibited, including candles, charcoal grills, fireworks, and any equipment that may increase risk of fire. Heating or cooking food on fire pit tables is not allowed and may result in an Excessive Cleaning Fee of up to $100.

Commercial photography, videography, or film production is only permitted with explicit written approval from Ethos Vacation Homes.

The Bamboo house

Chic house with designer level decorative finishes just as pictured! Well appointed and clean! Working class neighborhood which is a short about 10 min drive to Coronado or Little Italy. Parking is abundant in front of the hour during the day. Tip: would Uber or Lyft at night because parking becomes more scarce late evenings. Enjoyed my stay! Would rent again!
