Retreat and unwind at this new construction, contemporary Spanish home. The property boasts a front courtyard, large 2nd story deck, million dollar views, and craftsman details throughout. Each bedroom feels like a master, with a queen bed and en-suite bath. Two large patios with 180 views and dining furniture, perfect for family or friends. Upstairs deck is equipped with furniture (lounger, dining set, etc...), perfect for sunset watching and dinner. Sits 2 blocks from downtown OB.

Home was perfect & can’t say enough about the absolutely beautiful view on the rooftop The bedrooms & bathrooms were spacious. The host, Bill, was very accommodating, prompt responses with my questions. Would definitely stay again…with family in the area, I’m sure we will revisit very soon!

Beautiful house and view. The location was perfect as we were able to walk to so many places. The house was immaculate, and communication with Billy was always prompt. We loved the upper patio for morning coffee and evening sunsets. The house was very cozy and had plenty of room. Can't wait to stay here again, as it was so convenient and the perfect home for our annual girls getaway trip

A diamond in the haystack

This gorgeous home is located in a quiet neighborhood that is short walk to Ocean Beach, and it sits upon a hill that provides exquisite views of the water from the upper deck. We loved sitting there in the morning sipping our coffee watching the sun rise, and listening to the town come alive. This clean house is huge with three bedrooms, three baths, laundry, a decently stocked kitchen, large main sitting area for friends and family. Manager Billy’s responses to questions were quick, and helpful. We really appreciated him. A local supermarket is only a mile away, and there are several restaurants, bars, and shopping in Ocean Beach with a five minute walk. We will stay there again when we return to San Diego.

We stayed Thursday - Sunday, and we definitely could have stayed at least one more day. The location was perfect. A short ten minute walk to the beach and so many shops and restaurants nearby! The house was very spacious and comfortable, the rooftop deck was awesome as was the hot tub. There's only three little things I would point out: the small mattress in the suit was very hot, but fortunately there were multiple fans. The remote set up in the living room was a little confusing. Lastly, the rooftop deck is fabulous as is but an umbrella/canopy for the table would be helpful becuase it gets sunny and hot up there once the cloud cover clears. All in all, an amazing stay. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again. And it was such a treat to meet our host Billy during check out.

This house was great! The house was very clean and you can walk to the beach and restaurants. It also has Beach chairs and beach toys to use including boogie boards! The views were also great!

Girls trip

I took my daughter and daughter-in-law‘s on a little girls trip and this was a perfect location for us to be able to walk just about anywhere and get to the beach and still have enough room to have some quite space as well. Billy was easy to contact and quick to respond. Beautiful home and location.

Close to the beach, but far enough away from the noise

Nice spacious home. Everything was as promised in the listing lots of beach toys. Everything you need two blocks from the beach lots of restaurants and stores. The beach was nice with great waves. Billy. The host was very accommodating and easy to get a hold of if needed would definitely stay again When we come back to San Diego..

Would definitely return to this property

Enjoyed being able to walk to the beach, restaurants and other services in Ocean Beach. A bathroom for each room (one of the bathrooms is in the hallway right next to the bedroom) is a plus. Beds comfortable. You will hear and see airplanes! This would not keep me from coming back though.

Amazing Spot and Great Owner

This place is awesome! Great location, close to anything you want in OB, the owner is super chill and easy to deal with. The house is great, rooftop patio, hot tub, great living area and kitchen. Its quiet, comfortable, the bedrooms are all big and comfortable as well.100% recommend this spot if you ever want to go to SD or OB!!

Lovely Stay

Beautiful home in a great location! Easy walk to OB and the beach. The house was a perfect home-base for our daughter's wedding at the Thursday Club. Billy was very responsive and accommodating.

Property was a great location for our group! Close enough to places to eat and have drinks so everyone could have a great time. Also close enough to surrouding areas that made urbering to easy as well. House is in a great quite neighborhood, everyone was super nice. Would definitely recommend staying here.

GORGEOUS house - everything we needed

The house itself is absolutely beautiful with a great open layout. We utilized all amenities (cooked several meals, enjoyed the hot tub, washed laundry) and all functioned as needed. The upstairs deck was perfect for sunset, the 3-car driveway made parking a breeze (though there was plenty of street parking too) and the proximity to Newport Ave (the main street), restaurants, and the beach was ideal but just far enough away to enjoy the quiet. This was mentioned in a previous review but there is a bathtub in one of the guest rooms which is helpful if you have little children and an additional twin mattress (pictured in the online photos) in another. Billy was available via text when we had questions and overall we couldn't have asked for a better vrbo experience! Such a gem!

This is a lovely location with great views of the ocean. Newly remodeled home. Very nice. Note: 2 baths are shower only, one bath has a tub/sower combination - important if you are in your 70s and need to be careful of falling or slipping in tub. Site info for baths needs to be corrected. Nice and spacious home for our group of three couples. Nice neighborhood. Have a Nespresso machine but only 1 pod was provided. House clean but a few details were over looked - one bath trash was not emptied, someone’s pair of socks let on the deck table otherwise was clean. Really enjoyed sitting on the deck in late afternoon. Would highly recommend installing grab bars in the showers. Bottom of freezer needs defrosting. There was some water leakage from the frig, not sure what was going on. Perishable food was left in the frig which cleaners should have removed.

Thanksgiving at the Spanish Dream Home

The pictures and profile do not begin to do justice for this property and the property manager. The entire experience was spectacular. My entire family including my 90 year old Mother who is wheelchair bound were able to have a fantastic holiday experience.

Amazing Views

OB getaway

An absolutely amazing property with everything we could possibly need! Bill is an excellent host - by far the best I’ve worked with on VRBO. House is a few minutes walk to downtown OB. We enjoyed the farmers market (Wednesdays 4p-8p), the beach, great eateries. Visited mission beach, La Jolla, seaport village, Gallagher square for J boog /Kolohe Kai concert, Old Town and Coronado Island. Short drive to all of these wonderful places. This is our second time staying at Bill’s property- last time it was the bungalow. Hope to be back again soon!

Fantastic stay near Ob

Paver was responsive. Directions clear and home was very comfortable. We were out and about most of the day but house had everything we needed for our family. Comfortable beds, stocked kitchen , supplies etc. perfect place fir a San Diego stay. About 10 min walk to plenty of restaurants. 20 to beach.
